Your favorite PS4 themes

I tend to switch themes to whatever game I am playing at the time of they have a decent looking one. But I always keep going back to my bloodborne dynamic theme from the guide. It's so simple but perfect. I also really like the GoT dynamic that has the red leaves blowing through with the wind. P5R dynamic is nice as well as the ff7r dynamic.
Avengers could oh had such a cool dynamic theme if they just animated the static one they have with the hexagons.

So which themes are your favorite and do you hope the ps5 has themes as well?

I really like the Bloodborne and GoT themes too. There's also one from Final Fantasy 12 which plays the music from Eruyt Village, one from Final Fantasy 9, and a couple from Final Fantasy 7R. My current one is Tifa looking up at a night sky which has great accompanying music.
 




My 2 favorite this entire gen.

also will rotate the legacy one in along with the one that looks like the PS3 I believe it's called lightstream

As for game themes I'll do Ace Combat 7 free theme, God of War pre-order theme, Skullgirls, Resident Evil anniversary free theme, and the Fire watch theme.

I also have some light animated unique art style of a fire out in the forest kinda over looking a lake that's actually quite nice to look at.

My favourites are reward themes you get through emails for completing Persona 5 Royal. Some of the best and most colorful themes out there.

Here's a video with all of them.



EDIT: Just for reference my favourite one before these came out was the Makoto theme from the original Persona 5.

I think this is the best theme, best back ground music and movement noise.

IMO most of the themes on PS4 are rubbish and you cant preview most of them with out looking on youtube thats a joke

The persona 5 royal and makoto themes were pretty sweet. The former I'm still using. I also had this haunted house one for a while that was pretty cool.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst theme, which could be obtained due to Reeee and EA employees there.
 
I use Order 1886 theme couple years ago

I second, third and fourth this.

Every single one of these Persona 5 Royal dynamic themes are exquisite. And the fact that you get them for free for completing the game is the cherry on top. I keep switching between them all the time, but the Lavenza one is my personal favourite, especially with the velvet room theme playing in the background.
 
Visually the Joruney one is great:



Not a fan of the music or the sound effects though (the music itself is great but doesn't fit a console dashboard).

There were some great 24-hour reactive themes on PS3, PS4 never really achieved many great ones.

Firewatch was great
Slime Rancher is ok
24 Hour chopper city is decent

There might be one more, but this gen's "dynamic" theme was mostly wallpaper with a shitty effect over it, or happening, very dull compared to what we saw on PS3.

The bastard that made those took them off the store and replaced them with ResetEra themes. Fuck giving that guy any money, fame, or publicity.
 
Mix it up every week or so. Persona 5, Ys 8 & Dragon Quest are some of my favorites. Hard to find anything decent. 99% look like they were a 1st try by a high school digital arts student.
