Your favorite Twitch.tv streamers?

Siglemic

FinestKO - NorCal FGC; streams playthroughs of niche games (Danganronpa, Ace Attorney, Senran Kagura, for example) and anime fighter tournaments. Stream chat is usually slow enough to allow for lots of audience participation, including minigames for ingame decisions.

Almost everybody from SpeedRunsLive, especially Cosmo and ennop112, and some duders from Twitter or GAF if they stream

No way :lol

Hah. It's true. We met playing competitive Smash Bros, and he moved in with me when one of my roommates moved out.

Best roommate ever.

NorthernLion- He streams a 3 hour show every Monday/Wednesday/Thursday at 5PM CST. It's pretty entertaining as he'll play things like Who wants to be a millionaire and Family Feud with his jackal friends. He also does trivia so there's a chance to win a game.

BaerTaffy-I typically only watch his Spelunky replays on YouTube but his Twitch stream is also pretty entertaining.

I usually watch the SC2 streamers. Mostly Dragon, Destiny, Day9 and whatever Terran pro happens to be streaming at the time.

I go on SpeedRunsLive pretty much every day on my tablet before I go to sleep, there are lots of great people on there.

Ennopp112, TheMexicanRunner, Cosmo, Siglemic, Kalemandu and Demoon9 are probably the ones I watch the most right now. I

ManVsGame is in a class by himself. Nobody comes close.

Zoasty is my favorite speed runner. Super Metroid is a cruel game to speed run, and it's impressive to watch him recover and adjust to the weird shit that can happen in that game.

Fighting games:

Sp00ky
Arturo
Jaxel / 8wayrun
0ffcast
Bum1six3
OBS and LI Joe for a certain stretch of time

Others:

TheJustinFlynn (been randomly watching a lot of his streams after the release of Pokemon X/Y)
Man vs Game (Occasionally when there's nothing else to watch)

That's pretty cool! He seems like a really humble and nice dude, and the fact that he is so knowledgable about every game he runs and explains many techniques is a big plus; cool dude you got there with you :)

Wasn't he using your Wii U for his WWHD launch stream?

Yeah. He even paid for the download.

He still hasn't bought his own, and I don't think he will anytime soon.

I usually just keep the Wii U in his room, and since our walls are paper thin, and my room is adjacent, I just off-screen play everything in my bed.

He's a super nice dude, and man is he dedicated to everything he does. I've been around since he started streaming, and its crazy how much it has exploded.

I still watch Dansgaming, but he's not what he used to be. Less engaging, and more aware that his streaming is a 'business' rather than something he enjoys doing and sharing. At least that's the way I feel. Certainly if you follow him on twitter, all you'll get is spam for his Amazon affiliated shop link to various deals.

Wes and The Romantics are more new favourite hang out. Great community with discussions on gaming and other things and Wes does his best to get his viewers involved in multiplayer games, Online Clans and guest spots - also he's always raiding other people.

You might also know him for his 'Hull Truth' videos each week, updating and reviewing the information available on Star Citizen. All in all a good guy.

I guess the difference between the two is Dansgaming has 2000-3000 people watching him everyday, and is partnered. However Wes has 80-200 people watching him and is aiming towards being partnered one day. I can imagine it's a lot easier to be engaging with a small core of viewers than it is with thousands of chatters.

I'm discovering this myself. The main reason I like vick_in_a_box right now is that he is super friendly / open with his viewers because he doesn't have that many. I've been able to play games with him during his stream / skype with him and that kind of thing, which is awesome. But if you have 2300 viewers, you can't really have that kind of connection with the streamer / community.

Anybody who doesn't have a Donate button. They should be doing that stuff for the love of the game. If i check a stream and I see a dontate button, I usually back out.

Used to feel that way too, but I see a lot of people who want to have, like, their own 'show' if you will -- so it's hard to knock that entrepreneurial spirit if they really love what they're doing and they're spending a lot of time doing it.

That said, people who whine to their viewers for donations drives me crazy -- be subtle, don't beg, and foster a good community; the rest should follow, right?

I just think it's obnoxious...actually, i think most streamers are obnoxious posers. Always wearing toques and shit while they're indoors.

I don't watch many streams though, usually just when a new game is coming out that I am interested in, and want to get an idea of how it plays. Maybe I have just had bad luck in the few streams I have checked out.

I dont really have favorites, but I watched some guy and his wife play Mario 3D World the other night for an hour and had a good time. I also like watching Maximillian from GAF because he's got a great attitude about games (not a fanboy), but he mainly just plays fighting games so I dont watch him much. Been fun watching him play Killer Instinct the past week though.

Coopa/FinestKO for sure no one puts work into his stream like he does

Slayer is also amazing some of the highest video quality streaming on Twitch

Towelliee is fantastic if you are into the MMO scene

last not but least is

http://www.twitch.tv/cthulhu_the_3rd

The only streams I make a point to stay away from is FGTV and LethalFrag

LethalFrag - Not sure I like his new format though
CobaltStreak - *The* binding of issac guy, plays lots of other games. Not as uptight as lethalfrag.
DansGaming - Horror Month, is very non-PC, despite having very very lax modding the channel is still very civil.
EGFloe - One of the worst video game players ever, so sometimes it's fun to watch him suffer. Most of the time his streams are pretty boring though.

I really only check out a couple of old school WoW players who stream occasionally.

Nexius and Hobbs And Swifty on occasion, even though he's become a walking billboard over the past 3 years.

Other than that I'll just browse randomly, it's fun watching people try a new game for the first time whether it be Demon's Souls or DAOC. I'd love to see if there are any Japanese streamers on Twitch, I'm kinda out of the loop with regards to the gaming scene over there these days. Perhaps a DS stream? :P

People liking kripp is literally painful. He and toweliee (though krip is obviously 'better' at games than towelliee) are so full of shit it hurts.

Yep I can't stand either one of those clowns.

Ya the whole rating games, polls and everything.. I just don't give a damn about. I don't care what others think, I just wanna see you play games man. Hell I get the impression he doesn't like those segments either.

Oddler - Personal fav best on twitch that ive seen
http://www.twitch.tv/oddler

Surprised more people haven't mentioned him, I find him one of the most entertaining streamers by far. I just with he played more games, it's hard to get excited for another Resident Evil or Zelda marathon.

Others:

WShand
Adam_AK
Cosmo
Armshouse/LevelUpLive/whoeverisstreamingafightinggametournament
EnNopp112
Floe
vageta311
Miltrivd

I'm usually more into the game than the streamer though, I like watching first plays and speedruns of games I know well. I'll watch anyone as long as they don't do that obnoxious, fake, cringeworthy ranting shite so many angry young men on the internet seem vulnerable to, I remember catching a particularly irritating fellow called Sevadus streaming Dark Souls a while ago and the way he acted and the thousands of people lapping it up in chat just made me so annoyed and sad.

hmm changes heavily depending on what games I'm interested in atm.

Some streams that I will watch whether I am currently playing the game or not include:
LevelUpLive (preferably Rushdown live)
Ultrachen
MrFanatiq
recently- Maximilian_DOOD
sometimes Avoiding the Puddle because Aris is hilarious, but I have 0 interest in the games he plays mostly.

I usually look up a game I like and watch the most entertaining person streaming it.

I feel like he is so fucking full of himself, like he trys to act cool and collected but I cant help but this hes just one big douche.

He has clearly changed (as weird as that is to say) in the year or so Ive watched him (I dont now I cant stand him)

Don't really have any favorites. I kinda just watch people for the games. Plus most of the streamers I like are people on the bottom of the viewing list. I really dislike larger streams because they either have a really shitty fanbase (kripp), talki about themselves too much (ducksauce), or just have no interaction with their stream because there's too many people.

So I just like laid back and fun streamers that play games I like. mumbochicken, quenchiest, etc.
