PC, since the beginning of the current console gen? The Witcher or NWN2 Mask of the Betrayer.

Do you mean that Witcher/NWN2 Mask of the betrayer would beat SMG in your eyes? Or are you only drawing a line between console and PC?
Coolio McAwesome said:Super Mario Galaxy is so far ahead of the pack that it's almost sad. There's no runner up, no honorable mentions, and no other game that's even in the same league as Galaxy. Every other game is competing for second place at this point.

I will go with Little Big Planet..mainly because the game is different then anything else out there.
That's his opinion. It's a mixed bag for some. You can't deny it's appeal though. Look at those new Ragdoll Kung Fu skins coming this week and tell me they don't want to make you go buy kittens for dinner?andymcc said:its creation tools may be different than anything else out there but i'd say that the gameplay itself is just as "traditional" as mario galaxy's.

Kittens to pet of course.
I agree there. Mario Galaxy embodies many new game play mechanics. It deserves to be right up there as one of the best games this generation of hardware has had.andymcc said:i think that little big planet is inarguably inventive, but it's core-gameplay mechanic isn't that fundamentally different than the 2D tried-and-true platformer. to say that mario galaxy doesn't constitute as "next-gen", but little big planet somehow does... it's just a little strange.
