Your most cringe-inducing movie scene.

If you like aaron eckheart and/or explosions in the sky (post rock band), do NOT watch the movie Love Happens. The movie seems pretty lame but then they do a shopping at home depot music video to one of their greatest songs and omg it ruins so many things in one fell swoop that you get way pissed.

The sex scene in Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance is very NSFW. There's also the torture scene that is kinda hard to watch for me. And the scene where the archilles tendon gets cut open.
Actually, the second half of that movie.

best part of the movie was the first 30 mintues... the knife scene just wasn't done good. I never like that actor or character either. but its just sooo fake looking

Same here. I've always find the actor, or his roles, annoying. That's why his death wasn't that emotional for me as it was to others.

Its the fact that no one sees it coming that got me. The fucking narration.....

Isn't Casino based on a true story, at least the murder of those two?

Gangster No. 1, Bye Bye Lenny scene

Probably my favorite torture scene ever. Just because of how it was directed and not gory at all either. Perfect build up, perfect acting, perfect script and cinematography especially camera work, and perfect song to go with it. It defines cringe inducing without resorting to a bunch of gore.

Good shout.

Great film, love the POV stuff in this section.
Clock in the face, Sir?
Brutal.

The entire 2nd-half of the movie.

though I fucking love this movie, it is difficult to watch, remake is okay as well but it felt harder to watch (more real) with actors I didn't recognize from other films

That's from the first half of the movie, I think. Definitely agree on that particular scene. The whole movie is just such a bundle of joy, from start to finish.

At the same time, in spite of being incredibly gruesome and intensely oppressive, it has that gripping quality which makes it impossible to stop watching.

martyrs is delightful.
Yeah i love it.
Especially after watching Inside, Frontiers and a bunch of others with a similar vibe, it's still my favorite.
The only film that disturbed me more was Twentynine Palms, though it's a very different beast.

Ah, I've never seen the original, and don't particularly even want to, as the remake was pretty shitty.

Yeah I can totally see why people would not like the movie, personally I really like it but it's not for everyone that's for sure. Still I recommend the original over the remake for anyone interested

-"This is our land!!!" Avatar

Robot Knife from Avatar

"Are you and angel" scene and the "I`m a person" part from episode 1. Also, "I`ll try spinning, that`s a good trick"

The arm cutting in 127 Hours. That sound they used for the nerve. ugh.

And both the hotel fighting and curb stomp from Drive. That movie just went off the rails in terms of violence from nowhere.
