Your most satisfying Sound/Visual effect in a game.

Splodin heads/gibs in Gears.

Halo Sniper Rifle sound.

Halo announcer.

The sound of the Tesla/Tau gun charging in Half Life.

Dark Souls Parry whoooooosh.

Everything in Star Wars Battlefront. Dice are god tier.

The sound of a titan dropping in Titanfall.

Backstab sound from Dark Souls.

The sound of slamming an enemy to the ground in MGSV. Also Tranq headshot sound.

The best visual effect was in CRYSIS when it was launched for PC. IIRC that inside level of alien ship looked awesome. almost like a movie.

Battlefront imploder is great. Black Ops 3 hit markers feel so satisfying. Halo 5 beta hitmarkers were awesome as well.

Splatoon splash sounds when you jump from very high and sumerge into the ink as a squid. Also when you shoot at an inkling and the ink splots sound more intense until they explode.

Was playing Halo 2 Anniversary yesterday and the updated ghost start up and wind down sounds are AMAZING. I was hopping on and off just to hear that bad assness! I couldn't find a sample or youtube clip.

Smash Bros 64 Home Run Bat hit sound.

Zelda's puzzle solved fanfare.

That sound heartbeat like when you do a backstab in Dark Souls

Always liked the SMAAAASH!! sound in Earthbound. Satisfying when it happened in tough fights.

Parry sound in Souls series is also great.

Dante's Style Cancels in Devil May Cry 3/Marvel vs. Capcom 3
Hit Confirm/Full charged Charger Snipe/Blaster OHKO SFX in Splatoon
"Slash" Hit Confirm SFX in the Megaman Zero series
Super Smash Bros. Home Run Bat/Luigi upB/Jigglypuff Rest, Marth tipper (all games)
StarFox 64 Hyper Lasers
That "Glistening Shine" SFX you get when holding a long drift on Rainbow Road 8, 64 or SNES in Mario Kart 8

Honestly, there's a lot more that aren't coming to mind. Audio design stuff like this is a big deal for me.

The punching and kicking sounds on double dragon
The "get ready" voice-over on space harrier
That credit sound when you used to put a 10p in to an arcade machine

not that I'm nostalgic or anything...
