Your most sought after gaming pieces

And finally, Berserk: Millennium Falcon Hen Seima Senki no Shō for the PS2, again released only in Japan. I'm a huge Berserk fan and the Dreamcast game isn't very good, but apparently this game is much better.

This shouldn't be too hard to find in Japan. I picked up a used copy over there in 2006. I'll be in Osaka Tokyo on April 3rd-14th. If you'd like, I'll try to pick one up for you. Let me know.

edit: You can get one on ebay for $30.

I don't think it was ever up for sale, though.

Infinite Space, US version. It would complete my PlatinumGames collection.

I also want the Steel Battalion controller.

I have a couple of the things I've seen in this thread (Fallout 3 lunchbox and plasma lamp version of Metal Gear Rising). They really aren't that great.

Wide Boy 64 AGB. I found the regular GB/GBC one a while ago for...a lot, and the AGB was just ridiculous. Still, playing Gameboy games on my TV with native hardware is awesome, and I wish I could do the same with GBA games. Unfortunately, the Gamecube player only outputs 480i/p, Wide Boy can do 240p.

Edit:
I own a legit copy of this for the Atomiswave, but it'd be a thrill to find another genuine in the wild someday. Years ago I read a rumor that Sammy had dabbled in porting this to the Dreamcast, then I found the forum thread petitioning them to follow through. They never did, and it's a shame. A nearly impossible (non-boot) game to find, and emulation isn't that good either. More people should be able to play this.

GameStop had a Mirror's Edge art book when it first came out that I passed on and now want to find it. Oh, and the bag that came with Mirror's Edge somewhere else that was made by Timbuk2.

This bag. We ended up getting the uglier yellow one here in the US.

My man. Nobody understands how rare (and high quality) this bag is. I ended up with the horrible yellow one too.

I'd settle for this in my garage:

IIDX 20 Tricoro

Probably linked Cruisin' USA cabinets or some other older racer. I probably won't own it but only because of space concerns, not money. They're not too expensive these days.

I finally replaced my model 1 sega CD, so the next thing on my list is a complete R.O.B..

Even though I will probably only display it.

Just the box! Effing Media Play (remember that store) never gave me the box when I did check out. They literally took all the items that came with it from under the register and never gave the box. I thought it was weird at the time but I was only like 10 at the time.

Victor Ireland posts here on GAF. If you PM him, he might have a few boxes laying around in storage you can get from him.

Alpha 3 is my favorite street fighter, and I have always wanted one of these.

Oh my god it would be so much fun. I've seen them reasonably priced...on the otherside of the country with shipping costing almost the exact same price as the machine itself.

I enjoy having random gaming knick-knacks all around here or there, but I'm not a collector and I can't see myself going out of the way to buy any silly crap. With that being said, if someone came up to me and said, "Wanna buy one of these?" I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

It's so damn silly. I've wanted to own one for like ten years just so I can glance at it whenever and have a good laugh.

Dreamcast Broadband Adapter (Thank you Yahoo! Japan Auctions)

Also got a Sakura Wars Dreamcast in the same lot all for $70. Didn't have to spend a small fortune.

I cannot promise anything but when I moved into my house 4 years ago I packed up all my video game stuff. Give me this weekend to start digging I swear I have at least 2 completes of this version of the game. If I do I will send you a pm and send you the box.

No freaking reason to own 2 versions of the same damn thing.

The Raidou plush Devil Summoner 2 edition can be found for less brand new than when it came out on ebay. I have a hard time believing that this is some sort of holy grail ;p (and yes I own it still sealed)

You need to ask yourself... Retirement security for later on in life or instant gratification of a dream since childhood.

Screw it, buy that sucker and hope to god you strike it rich later on down the road.

I actually found my copy 3 years ago at my local gamestop for 20 bucks in mint condition not opened... I know that sounds like a myth because it was at gamestop.

So you'd rather have an equivalent amount of money + $1 than any particular game / gaming merchandise...

I thought this thread was more about merchandise. I couldn't give a rats ass about merch and the games I want are mostly last and this gen. So, yeah, I'd happily sell most things to someone who is willing to pay big bucks.

I have regretted not getting this for the longest time, primarily for the backpack. Man, I would use the fuck out of that thing if I had one, but I'm not willing to pay the premium that they cost now.

I still have a sealed SMT3 spécial edition though (with the soundtrack), first run!

But it's almost impossible to distinguish it on ebay with the various reprints to assess its value

I was waiting for em to release it in Europe, but they never did :C

I used to see these used everywhere when I lived in Japan (up until 2006), but could never bring myself to pay the 5,000 yen they wanted for them. Same with the PSX, but those were 20,000 at the time.

I've never seen it in a store before despite seeing much rarer and more holy grail worthy things in hobby shops and stores.
I think I'm cursed. I'll just buckle and get it online some time, a bunch of people have already messaged me that they have a mint condition one they'd be willing to give me so I must be the only SMT fan without one

You are the only SMT fan without at least 2...

I was thinking of posting about FZero AX as well.. Ever since I saw it on Game Center CX, I wanted to at least be able to play it at a local arcade..

Not anything out there I desire anymore. But if there is one thing my collection is missing it is old scratched up wrestling/sports games without cases or manuals and covered in a thick pungent patina of cigarette smoke. That's how you know they've been loved.

The manual to Golden Sun PAL. Silly little thing but I managed to lose it and it would be nice to replace it even if I never have the need to look at it.

I had a copy in my babby days but I didn't appreciate nor understood how much this thing would be worth until I grew up and saw collecting as a hobby. Now, I can't find one anywhere without being asked for 250+ bucks.

Spice is undoubtedly nice but this has always been my favourite GameCube variant. If it played retail discs I'd have bought one a while ago but I can't justify the purchase otherwise.
