Just to go back to yesterday's argument: he mentions in his apartment tour that his parents are helping out with his school and/or rent, so there's merit in the idea that this is pretty ridiculous to do to his parents.

That said, he's boosting his channel and is likely monetizing it in some capacity, plus he's gotten some gifts so it'll probably pay off in the short term.

I do think it's pretty dumb, but whatever. Far worse things to get pissed off at in the world.

I mean yeah, there are far worse ways to "waste" a whole month, at least this man is doing something he enjoys and it might actually become something bigger afterwards, his channel is growing. With that said, I don't get the people asking for autographs but whatever. Also, the "It's your boy blablabla in the building" some guy said in the latest video made me cringe real hard lol.

Lawd his fans are pure cringe.

Every time he gets asked to sign something....

Well he will probably make lot of money with this.

I am guessing?

and why is he giving autographs? lol

Wow, so much shade in here. He seems like a genuine guy who loves Nintendo, starting a fun adventure for fans and of course recognition. Nothing but positivity and nice people in the videos, what's the problem?

the funny part is.. this is people on a fucking gaming forum.. gaming you know.. that hobby that's considered a waste of time in itself by no small part of society

Day 10 he spent most of the day at the apt since he had to edit. He also answered a question I was wondering and also talked to his mom on her opinion of it. We knew the apt was airbnd but it's a big apt. Turns out they're just renting a small room with bunk beds so cost has to be pretty cheap.

He told his parents three days before he was leaving for NY.

Triforce mentioned in his video that on Sunday the Nintendo store had a truck delivering some stuff that was covered up, probably all the promo material/units.

That's something that always gets me on a lot of threads here - there are some people here who are gamers, who then decide to judge and deride other gamers for the things they do. It's kind of weird to me, being that most people see gamers as some sort of "social outcasts" anyway (especially as we get older). Why do they seem to feel a need to judge others in our community?

Anyway, to everyone who is saying he isn't passionate, take a look at the kid's channel (OMG he might make a few cents if you do though!) - he started it 5 years ago when he was a little kid, and he obviously wasn't thinking about making money then - he just loves Nintendo. Sure, this is him trying to take his channel to new heights for profit, but he is still a Nintendo fan. And what's wrong with him trying this? I really don't understand all the hate and criticism.

I agree with everything you said. He's just having fun and enjoying life.I wish I lived there so I could meet him.

Honestly, if this were a Xbox, PlayStation or Apple launch there would be 1/5 of this hate. I mean holy shit, hoping he gets mugged? what the heck is wrong with some of these haters? He's passionate for Nintendo and wants to meet his fans. His content is well produced. Just let CND do CND.

Todays video was really interesting, it seems like his parents are on board and supportive too, how cool is that?

At first, he annoyed the shit out of me, as I felt he was incredibly fake, but I was wrong, as each video he puts out only gets better and better and I wish him the absolute best with this. The love for Nintendo and the community definitely shows.

Sorry if this has been answered, just jumped into this thread: so he sleeps at an apt at night and doesn't actually stand in line everyday? What are the rules to being "in line" then? Does Nintendo give him some ticket or something if he shows up every morning before open? What keeps someone else from showing up a few minutes before him and taking his spot?

I thought he'd litterally be sleeping outside of the store for a month. Kinda disappointed.

Yoooo!!! It's happening!

LMAO, it seems it's really, really happening. I was just casually checking Pluto's channel and I randomly saw this on the comments:

Looks like CND will have a Nintendo Switch and a girlfriend once it's all set and done :). They make a great couple indeed.

I hope he isn't giving her attention just because she donated $1k+ to him.

EDIT: Pluto's channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHolAoBX2K3p8qAlkzoM_0w

Oh man let's hope not :( Don't be like that, CND...

He's just camping out in front of Nintendo store in NY while it is open. There's really no line yet. Once the line is announced they'll start camping out the whole duration until launch to maintain that #1 spot on that store.

She seems sweet from the 60 seconds I've seen of her so good luck to them. But if the genders were reversed, it would be awfully creepy -- a male fan donating $1000+ to a younger girl Youtuber that he has a crush on to make her dreams come true, with the benefit of getting some personalized attention and hopefully meeting her someday

How much older is Pluto? I'm honestly not very good at guessing people's ages.

I figured he wasn't in line 24/7
Ny X the east was just hit with back to back snowpocalpse storms so he would have died lol

That being said, I saw a few vids, kinda entertaining so good for him. Cool shipping in progress ⛵️⛵️⛵️⛵️⛵️
