I can only speak for myself, but I don't feel it's jealousy or envy at all. I just can't see myself blindly accepting things over and over and over again from people I have zero connection with, and most likely only will for a few brief seconds. I think people have to remember this within this thread and in general, both of these guys, and anyone in the public eye, is placing themselves in the public eye for a multitude of reasons. Either financial gain, ego boost, or any other number of boons that can benefit one person's life. The question is, does this benefit come at the cost of others...? And quite literally, from food to collectibles to out right cash...This DOES.
That said, I haven't once, not once seen either CND or TriForce even bring donuts for people that actively serve them to their figurative doorstep, food daily, incessantly. These two guys take, and take, and what they give in return is debatable as to whether it's equal.
Also, when a person places themselves in the public eye, they do so with a need to accept both praise and criticism. It's not one or the other solely. I don't feel CND is inhuman or intolerable. He has a decent energy and enthusiasm to him. At the same time I do feel he's gaining, a lot, from that, and who knows to what degree that energy is genuine and who knows to what degree it's car salesman like. I don't. Who knows even if he does? But either way, it's okay to voice an opinion on someone that's openly allowing themselves to be viewed for adoration or scrutiny.
Again, this is a mix of things, both "good" and "bad" ,but man would it be nice if these two guys gave as much as they received.

Ah yes, the bowl of soul incident. That was indeed confirmed as I knew the girl in the old #capcom IRC channel back in the day.
She actually had a website with the messages and pictures for everyone to see up years ago but I believe it died.

And just to be clear: I have no problems with what CND's doing. He's a kid trying to establish his brand and do his own thing. My problem involves the parasite attached to him right now.

I dunno the rules or anything, but way they've explained it: they've been "queuing" the line, which means they show up to stand nearby (they're not allowed to remain on the store side yet since the official line hasn't started.)
So I guess technically someone could beat CND to the front of the line if they show up there before him, BUT it seems like Nintendo has already uh acknowledged him (they've given him food, clothes, gifts, and even invited him to an event), SO I wouldn't be surprised if CND will be the first to know when the official line starts thus avoiding such conflict.
Ex. someone shows up and claims to be #1, all Nintendo would have to do is let them know that the line hasn't started yet. If said person refuses to budge, they could just have CND go around the other side and Nintendo could claim that's the official line, etc. That's just how I think it'll work, though. Don't take my word for it.

I did not know Triforce prior to this whole thing but something about him weirded me out in CND's videos so all of this dirt on him doesn't surprise me at all.
Basically nobody can line up in front of the store and wait there until Nintendo ny store makes an official line up. What they are doing is basically going there when the store opens and heading home when it closes, they usually wait across the street since they will most likely be told to move along. That's it really, since they are there when Nintendo officially creates a line up they are there to be the first one. Yeah it is not guaranteed but they are publicizing this stunt and making friends among the "community", it is highly unlikely someone will "steal" the first in line status. Besides it looks like they are communicating with nintendo ny store, they do get invited to some events and get some freebies. Most likely the people of nintendo ny will inform them about the line up. It is a better publicity by giving them a heads up.

My thoughts exactly. Triforce has been gifted 3 3DS so far & kept cash for 2 of them. He also had 2 gofundme's in his name for a total of $3500.
He even got CND to pay for an all inclusive trip to New York for a month.
Triforce is clearly taking full advantage of the situation.
I'm glad others on this board.are taking notice & commenting about what's actually going on here.

The second gofundme he did actually went almost $1,000 over the goal so he's closer to being up $5,000 if you count the 2 3DS he returned. I wouldn't even be surprised if there is one more gofundme by the time this is all over to crowd source his plane ticket back home. Still plenty of time for him to milk this.

Triforce looks real happy in his video. I guess this 24-hour crunch time is his bread and butter.
They still seem to be doing this stuff in shifts, which man I feel guilty when I walk up from the bathroom inline to a friend with a movie ticket or in a concert line, haha!
I'm curious to see how other people interacting with them, people not a direct part of their own subset of fandom. This will definitely get more interesting as the days wear on from now on in.

Tri force is doing the night shifts it seems. Pretty cool seeing them go into 24/7 mode after watching these guys for almost a month. Really hope the best for CND and Triforce when this is all said and done.

Wasn't CNDs buddy Jacob suppose to arrive this week? Pretty sure he's mentioned a few times that he was gonna be out there the final week. I wonder if CND burned up all of Jacobs funds on Tri Force. Even during the stream where people were donating a bunch of cash, he called Jacob and said they have enough to go to New York.

Reading all the Triforce stuff and hearing CND say at the end that TF is partially there to show him the ropes makes me feel uneasy. I get people can change, etc... but there's a lot of information out there about TF exploiting others and making things difficult for them, and CND seems like a genuine guy who could really make a good go of his channel.
Hopefully this is too in the light for TF to try anything, or hopefully he's wised up a little.
