I'm wondering...does anyone here on Gaming Age even play these type of visual novel games? I'm posting this just to see how GAF will treat it.

PC right? Don't dozens of these games come to the US on PC?

And umm I've enjoyed a few, and will play them if they have good writing (not necessarily good stories, but just being very well written in style). Stuff like Kanon really impresses me as its very poetic and it's good Japanese practice as well. That being said I don't think I've ever finished a visual novel game as they tend to be REALLY LONG and I just can't stick with them.

Snatcher and Phoenix Wright are the only good Japanese text adventures with pictures, possibly porn.
