Fingers crossedSFV's marketing metrics in general have been trending upwards with the reveal of AE. More people are engaging with their channels & viewing their material since that went up. Nice to see the Zeku trailer's views are actually backing that up.
If Capcom sticks the landing with SFV AE's launch, they could very well turn the game's overall reception around.

lol didn't vesper already do an analysis on this?
I wonder if SFV:AE will count as a new SKU on Steam and such. That would help curb the initial wave of negative reviews SFV got.
Did that fuck with the cheevos?iirc they did something similar with Ultra SF4 on Steam
SFIV soundtrack aged like milk. Only cammy/sakura remix themes and those 2 stages you mentioned are the only tracks that still sound great.Just more to add to the list
Some people have really faulty memory of what SFIV sounded like
Guy
Makoto
Zangief
Ryu
Cody
Sakura
Dudley
Mad Gear Hide Out
Festival at Old Temple stage
Just about to post this. Damn, he looks pretty complicated, and really good...I love it. Definitely seems like a character specialist type.

Not to my knowledge, but Zeku has enough long-range moves to where keeping enemies at a distance wont be a major issue.Zeku has no projectiles right?
iirc they did something similar with Ultra SF4 on Steam
Id say that the stand character should be voiced by Matthew Mercer (since Josuke onwards dont have English VAs, yet), but hes already Fei Long.We got a stance character, but when are we getting a STAND character?

His long range special kicks might have hitboxes classified as projectiles.
This is so damn good.
All Capcom has to do is say that Zeku's full name is Zeku Kuramoto & it's a fucking wrap.
pretty sure that's literally how Guy walks
Agreed, that part seems to be a Guy reference.pretty sure that's literally how Guy walks
You're probably right. I haven't seen Guy in a while.pretty sure that's literally how Guy walks
Yup. Other games have some damn fine animation. SFV always beats them for me overall. The animation in this game really makes most others look bad the more I see it. Incredible style and personality as well.

Its alright, but its nothing mind-blowing (see Akumas SFxT theme).

Young Zeku looks suspiciously close to the appearance of Strider Hiryu. Can somebody explain to me the context of Zeku's transformation into a younger version of a ninja? It just looks so random and pointless.
So it's a Strider cameo without being a direct Strider cameo? But why does he need a transformation (new clothes and different hair) to change his fighting style? It just feels like a especially odd way to include a cameo.Young Zeku looks suspiciously close to the appearance of Strider Hiryu.
It turns out that's because he's the first Strider.
His theme has the Strider theme hidden in it, and there's a Strider sound effect in Old Zeku's GRAM attacks.
Old Zeku fights kinda like a modified version of Nash w/ a toolset including a Bushin Flip-esque move.So it's a Strider cameo without being a direct Strider cameo? Onstream today they did the math and Super's just straight up better for raw damage. Karin has a similar thing w/ being able to confirm into 3 EXes to finish rounds.Super damage off 3 EX bars, makes sense
You're referring to Hiryu, right? Strider is an organization of high-tech ninjas, not necessarily one ninja.Interested in his relationship with Strider...
