Whoever loses... We win.
If it's going to be using the OoT remake engine/style, then Majora Mask should get the remake.
aLttP deserves better than that.
I'd actually rather have it redrawn in 2D with painted landsapes.I.... I would play a completely remade Link to the Past. Crazy looking 3D world, I bet it would look spectacular.
Contract another studio to port Majora, work on new Zelda and LTTP 3D remake. Win, win, win scenario.
Except when the internet starts spewing its usual "OMG NINTENDO MAEK NOO GAMES REMAKES PORTS BAD BAD OOOGAH" shit. Which will happen anyway, I guess.
I hate MM, so LTTP please.
Who's saying it would have to be in 3D? Beautiful 2D visuals spruced up with the 3D trickery is actually quite attractive. Mighty Switch Force remains one of the best examples of 3D on the system for this reason. No offense to Shiggy, but LTTP remake would be ugly in 3D. The 3DS hardware isn't powerful enough, I sense that there would be sacrifises to the game's overworld going to 3D.

Having MM on the 3DS would be great because the saving issue wouldn't be an issue anymore thanks to sleep mode.
lol, I don't think an ALttP remake that looks like OoT is what is talked about here. Miyamoto occasionally talks about how the different layers of ALttP would make for a good 3D effect, so such a game would certainly keep that birdy eye view.
Making ALttP in 3D a la OoT would completely destroy most of the puzzle and dungeon design. The overworld would have to be redesigned. The game might as well be completely new by that point.
I believe MM sold the fewest of all the console Zelda games. It potentially has the most to gain if it were remade. LTTP is, amazing but it already has a handheld port. I'd like to see a LTTP style (top down) game for the Wii U instead.
Just have Grezzo make it for the 3DS and call it a day. The did a great job with OoT.
Plus, people saying MM is bad are bat shit crazy. MM was a brilliant and necessary departure for the series. I've always loved it. I'm not part of the new found bandwagon and hype train. Been on since October 2000.

It'd be both familiar and completely new at the same time which is why I'm down with the idea. The scope of the world in 2d would FORCE them to show some ambition and ingenuity in the transition to 3d. The game's simple story and dénouement is still the best in series IMO.
A Link to the Past remake would be Nintendo's equivalent of a Final Fantasy VII remake. It would be irresistible.

Because New Super Mario Bros. was not sprites.I think the second point is obvious, but why don't you trust Nintendo to do sprite work?
You're basically asking for another OoT.

1) Step into chemical fire.
2) Die.
3) Reincarnate and admit MM's the better game.
Link To The Past Is 2D Zelda Perfection!
