This patch has been up for like 8 hours now and I was surprised nobody said anything about it. I guess the DLC part of it made people forget.

Edit: Here's the official release notes:

Version 1.3.0

-Expansion Pass: DLC Pack 1 ”The Master Trials" is now available. If you have already pre-purchased this content, you can now play it by updating both the DLC and the software. You can update your purchased DLC through Nintendo eShop.

-Various fixes to improve gameplay.

Nothing specific on what improvements in gameplay. If you notice anything, feel free to report, and I'll update once we get it confirmed!

Has "gameplay improvements" on the patch notes released, but nothing specific. Anyone notice anything? Feel free to report.
Well if game stops dropping to a crawl every time I knock down the big dudes with a single horn I'd call that an improvement. Ill check when I get home.

Patch notes pls. Why wouldn't you release patch notes?

I downloaded 1.3.0 more than 12 hours ago, now it's telling me there's no update. It's the DLC update.

Oh, good. Did they release patch notes for stuff that isn't necessarily included in the main DLC featues?

I can now hear the Champion's powers coming back dialogue in Japanese. Before that when I switched language it just stopped playing any sound.

Ask me about the moon landing or the temperature at which jet fuel burns. You may be surprised at what you learn.

Hm, maybe it pushed the same download twice on my end for some reason. I swear it downloaded two of them here.

It doesnt download twice.

First ones the download, second is the install

It's a shame that the heatmap/tracking feature is included in the dlc, would've loved that as a free update. Beyond that there's not much pulling me towards that first dlc pack

Weapons breaking too soon and only having two durability status indicators.

technically they have 3 because you can tell when a weapon is brand new, when it's been used but still good, and when it's about to break

I don't believe any weapons have been breaking sooner than they should

That's intentional.

The game would be stupidly easy if nothing broke.

You could literally just rush to Hyrule Castle, sneak around for 5 minutes, warp out and completely destroy the entire game with unbreakable late game weapons

yeah that's part of the game

you gotta throw them when they're about to break, they do good damage that way

Guys... really? Pretty sure he was being a little tongue in cheek.

Lmao, weapons in this game do not break too fast. If anything, you get so many weapons and so many good ones its so trivial as to what you use.

The first one is never gonna change and is only an issue early game (and honestly I think even that's intentional).

I'm with you on the second one.

There's nothing to be fixed, it was designed to be this way.

Sounds good. Guess I will fire it up this weekend and give it a spin.

Patch Notes:
(of dreams...)
:

-New enemies: Tread carefully adventurers! Hyrule just got more dangerous. Look for foes both new and classic alike across the world. Can you survive?

-New dungeons: We heard you! We have now added four new dungeons inspired by each of the Champions. Utilize the abilities you gain from each in tricky new ways that fans of prior Zelda games can truly wrack their brain and brawn against!

-Ganon Overhaul: We've overcharged the Calamity master himself. Make sure you are fully prepared this time before attempting to free the land!

-Fashion Show!: We've filled our shops with an assortment of new looks and clothing for Link. Don them in the new fashion show taking place on stage in Kakariko! Just beware of the rain...
