How about getting a few good quality pictures of Link from the same angle and maybe, just maybe I might be able to see the difference you are talking about.olimario said:You see no design differences? Blind.
oh of course. you have 20/20 vision and everyone else is blind.olimario said:You see no design differences? Blind.
ummm... in that first pic you're mistaking an awkward action pose (from a split second of time) for a change in the design of the models. Link's pose in the right pic is more relaxed (not in the middle of an extreme action) so his proportions don't appear as exaggerated. The camera position and perspective differences also don't help with the model proportion comparisons. And would you mind pointing out how the arms appear longer and how his face is "creepier"?olimario said:![]()
Link's features are too over-the-top on the new screen (left). He looks much more realistic and much better on the right.

And he wears this huge clodhoppers now. I much prefer the old look.
Exactly. There really is no difference at all. Why would Nintendo have changed Links model at all, especially after the great comments they received when they first unvieled the game? Link looks as good as ever and I love this Link just as much as the OoT/SSBM model.Scrow said:ummm... in that first pic you're mistaking an awkward action pose (from a split second of time) for a change in the design of the models. As for the feet... I'm pretty sure the boot seems less "bulbous" in the right pic because it's actually clipping through the ground (look at his back foot in the original pics. the area around the toe end of the boot has thickness) :lol And if that's not that case, it hardly matters because the boot on the left looks better anyway. It is a boot afterall, not a slipper...
from what I can see, it seems that in the earlier build his feet were passing thorugh the floor, and now they corrected thatolimario said:You really can't?

Link used to look so much better. Now he has bulbous feet, longer arms, a creepier face, etc...
There is a huge difference between them.
Of course...look at the size of the things.radioheadrule83 said:What the fuck happened... this was a Celda, Minish Cap and old-Zelda-art love-in ...
now we're talking exclusively about Link's boots?

Only thing I can see is that the lighting looks better in the right screen. On the left it doesn't look like a suit, more like plastic.olimario said:![]()

PhoenixDark said:I agree with Oli here: the character model looked cooler in the original trailer. The last few pics Nintendo released of Link looked odd to me. In the first trailer, he looked totally bad@$$, especially in the pick where he's sitting on Epona looking into the distance.
But is zelda really about the graphics?

that doesn't make any sense, why would cel shading work better with the revomote?AssMan said:You don't think a cel shaded Zelda game would work best with the controller?
