This game lists the world population as 8 billion...VLR said 6 billion people died due to Radical-6. So 2 billion survived? That's a lot more than I thought.
Obviously Sigma, Akane, Junpei, Clover, Phi, Alice, and many others survived. The fact that Junpei found Quark shows that since he isn't very old, he was likely born after the reactors went off. 2 billion people surviving would make sense.
Also worth thinking about is the passwords that appear when someone dies. In 999 and VLR there were endings where most or all of the cast gets killed. Let's say that happens here...all the passwords would reveal themselves, and at that point Sigma, Phi, and whoever else who may also have
timeline powers (plus good retention, which mainly seems to be Sigma)
can get that knowledge all at once. So I'm kind of wondering if everyone getting killed doesn't happen, deaths can ONLY happen with the use of gimmicks so no one goes Rambo (meaning passwords can ONLY be gotten piece by piece), and/or there are other elements from barring the passwords to be gotten and used that easily.
It would also be interesting to see Sigma and Phi kill someone to get a password
then jump to another timeline
, for the greater good :x At the very least Diana might kill Sigma going by that piece of art. I'm guessing all teams will have that choice though.

I have a feeling the passwords are only doled out at set intervals for each room. Each room a team will confront a death trap, one of them will have to be put in it to move forward, a password will be gotten and the next room unlocked. It'll be a scenario where either someone makes a noble sacrifice or the other team members force someone to die, effectively becoming murderers in the process. Would make sense given the Saw-esque concept art as well.

It's not that she's wearing high-cut shorts, it's that she's wearing a bad cut of shorts with a visible zipper going nearly all the way down, and tucking a wide-neck sweater/long-sleeved t-shirt into them. The sleeves might also be bunched up.
That or, as we learned in VLR, someone who's there isn't actually supposed to be there, as even despite pre-planning, Sigma and Phi's presence was always a constant in every timeline, yet one body had to be brought onto the scene.
