I remeber a few years back in school we had to do a project on teaching a topic to the class and I choose Zombie Survival and pretty much just used that book and 28 weeks later for everything

Time out. Theres a zombie research society?

this. :O

One of my mates has the most zombie apocolypse ready garage I've ever seen. Full of axes and chainsaws and stuff. Plus his cupboard is full of canned baked beans (which lasts forever). We actually filmed part of a zombie film there. Zombie apocolypse day, I know where I'm heading.
but seriously, come to Aus. It'll never reach down here! (right guys?)

these fuckers are the ones that'll create the *real* zombie virus. They'll be carefully researching vaccines, and accidentally release a mutant strain into the world - bam, zombie outbreak.

Reading books such as WWZ and The Road, I have started sockpiling canned food and saving milk jugs for water. I'm not sure eating cold Chef Boyardee and drinking warm water 3 times a day will maintain my desire to keep living.

I am sure some "scientist" is working on this right now. But he is doing just for fun as a side project in his laboratory. Once he creates it his company will claim ownership of it since it was made using their equipment. They will decide to sell it to the highest bidder on the black market to make billions. When transporting the virus will be accidentally released by a careless mover. Thus begins the zombie apocalypse.

This book or the main one is WWZ is in my bookdepository to buy list.

Better be worth reading. I read somewhere that it was a zombie classic. But then zombie literature is hardly something, I think I have ever read.

Zombie Survival Guide is 'practical'. WWZ is pretty damn good, but doesn't survive my usual practice of reading a book more than ten times

I quite enjoy to imagine about what it'd be like to survive a Zombie apocalypse... what I'd do, where I'd go etc. But if they can run like in 28 Days Later, fuck that shit. There's no fun involved there, it's just terrifying (though I know some are going to say "you'd be constantly terrified during any zombie apocalypse", but you know what I mean. I can handle 1 slow guy with a baseball bat!).

Theoretically stupid article with theoretically stupid speculations.

It's a Halloween-themed show and article. NatGeo having a little fun. But I know that is frowned upon around these parts.

I'm a professional Zombie hunter with a large chunk of my personal fortune tied up in shares of the company that makes the "cure".

How could I not want this. : D
