ZombiU - What would you like to see in the sequel?

Just minor stuff. The game is amazing.

a couple more melee weapons
improved visuals
iron sights, I think this is actually one game that would genuinely benefit from them
make my own spray can messages using game pad
make leveling up actually mean something, right now I can't tell what it gets me

that's all I can think of right now. I love the game though.

There was nothing to counter. You added nothing. Lol

Well, you didn't even deal with my point that independant survival would be both a lot more challenging, atmpshpheric and ultimately more satisfying than having some deranged northern TWAT telling you what to do for the entire game.

Seems like you need the direction since you are just a school teacher, janitor, store manager, computer programmer, and many other great careers that dont train you for surviving such an event.

I can't believe the design team decided that a cricket bat should be the only usable makeshift weapon in a Zombie apocalypse.

I think it was a nod to the 'Britishness' of the experience. Shawn of the Dead and all that. It's believable that all these different characters could wield it effectively and I guess it has a decent combination of range vs blunt force trauma.

Ending was a joke, put 13 hours in, get the best ending and NO pay off at all?

Wow, I get into a helicopter, THE END. Never explains what the Prepper was getting you to do or what happens as a result of you doing all the Ravens of Dee nonsense.

Oh and what was the reason the fast travel pipes didn't work at the end of the game, that's just lazy design. Would have been better if they justified it with story elements, flood or Prepper just locks you out but no, with no reason, they just don't work.

Ugh, I was really enjoying the game but the end just soured the whole experience. The worst part was being stuck on the roof, running off it and around and back up several times before the final cut scene decided it wanted to play.

Yea i stopped reading there.
If you read the very next line, you'd see what I was getting at. Smh lol... Not only do you outright lie about the Vita/PS3 cross controller lag (again: there is none. Just like the Gamepad), but when I correct you, you continue your bullshit by disregarding the rest of my message because you can't be arsed to read the next few words. Unbelievable lol

Prepper:
In a twist, it's revealed that the prepper has his HQ right next to your safehouse all along. He loots your stash when you're gone and prepares to lure the next survivor into his little scheme. That was his purpose. To get suckers like you collecting items and equipment for him, taking all the risk while he's safe and "prepared" in his lair.

Ravens of Dee
Dr. Knight (successfully) tries to find a cure for the plague. Sondra tries to evacuate and escape the city with any stragglers. In the best ending, the vaccination you retrieve from Dr. Knight delivered to a government organisation like the Ravens of Dee will surely be very helpful in combating the spread of the outbreak.

Your payoff is survival.

Didn't Patrick Klepek mention that he talked to the guys at Ubi Montpellier and they basically said they were pressed for time (launch title and all that) so they were happy they got one melee weapon working just right in the game and there was no time left to make a more elaborate combat system or additional weapons with different stats and swing mechanics etc. One of the planned features that got cut to make it in time for the launch.

Real shame, imo.

Improved melee attacks. Your melee skill should level up just like your firearms attacks. Also the ability to pick up new melee weapons and improvised weapons. Also, directional attacks would be nice.
