Huh? Unmanned probes had already landed on the moon well before Apollo 11.
Luna 2 in 1958 was the first, followed by a ton of others.

Why they didnt take a pic of what was behind them?
I still have doubts.

Everytime I see this one, he looks like he's thinking "I'm high as fuck right now."

Hitler helped get us to the moon CONFIRMED.
The Saturn V is so majestic.
Oh I know that, I'm well versed in space history. It's one of my favorite subjects.eh its hard to tell Nazi's apart, but no, we didn't 'rescue' that particular nazi, just the SS scientist and engineers that lead our space program.
Funny you say this, but he literally did, with the V2 rocket and the scientists that developed it.
Hasselblad 500 series with Portra 400 will still give you a better image than most cameras today, including high end digital. They started making them in the late 50's.I'm still blown away regarding the quality of cameras that NASA had in 1969. That first Buzz pic and the picture of the Earth with the Sun are superb.
MGS3 was set in 1964. The moon landing didn't happen yet. Russians were first into space. In MGS3, it's told that the Russians were first. Was Kojima lying?

Site for the 40th, you can listen to the real radio chatter as the mission was going. Great site.
