They said within 6 months, which reinforces the January/February timeframe we already had.
The download function has this screen at 3840 x 2160. However it seems heavilly compressed.
I'm mesmerized by their shadows.

Yeah. It's the little things. The subtle colours (but actually saturated colour like DaS and DeS... not the washed out look of DaS2).
The subtle glow of the lights in that tower. The edges of the clouds catching the setting sun.... absolutely stunning. I don't even care about the lack of AA because this game just continues to impress me.

They'll probably leave it as one of those mysterious cross-game connections that's never fully explained.
Seath being in both Dark Souls and King's Field, Patches in Demon's and Dark, Lordran vs. Drangleic in Dark 1 and 2, the Sword of Moonlight being in every game, etc.

I was salivating from beginning to end. Cannot wait to play this, I wasn't even expecting the game to look this good. All those particle effects and lighting... My god, the spooky/dark ambiance in this game is amazing.
