Overrated. Horizon 2 looks better without even trying.

Not again, please.

Why should be only for visual quality?

I was just arguing semantics. The game looks better than any other racer to date. I think 99% of us agree on that. Saying Driveclub should be the standard for racing games even though the majority of us haven't played it is pushing it.

Don't be mad....I've played Rivals, F5, and Horizon...what's making this so special? besides the 30 fps
:)

Oh, I'm not mad in the slightest. Racing fans are dying for a decent arcade or sim game for the Ps4. The only options right now are Rivals and MotoGP. No 4 wheeled track racing game at all. GT won't be here for at least a year, if not 2 or 3.

This should fit that empty slot perfectly. Looks to be a really fun game, potentially hitting that balance between sim and arcade handling a la PGR really well. And it looks great visually with variable time of day and weather coming soon.

At least the Xbox One has Forza 5 and FH2.

Ps4 racing fans need some their racing fix, and this looks to fit the part.

For me, I can't wait to actually play it. I'm not sure about the arcadish feel you speak of. From the vid it looks like the cars just bump into one another. But hey, no judgement til I get my hands on it. It's pretty and yes, PS4 only players do need a good racing sim! Here's to hoping.

Wow that's absolutely gorgeous. Something's strange about the behind car camera views. I can't put my finger on it but things seem different from the rest of the footage.

It's not out yet, is it? I tried to find it and can't buy it anywhere.
Pre-orders open at Amazon.co.uk, and it looks like some specialists might have them in the EU. No dates I can see though. There are review models around, ours turned up last week. I don't play racing games much since Daytona in the arcades, and have never bought a wheel, but this one has me seriously thinking about it. The rush of taking the BAC Mono for a spin (literally, I'm a terrible virtual driver) has made me a convert.

This isn't being billed as a sim though, it's more forgiving, physics wise. Like the PGR franchise. Just pick up and play fun, without being as arcade as say NFS.

The upcoming Project CARS will be sim. That'll hopefully make sim fans happy on Ps4.

It's great the Ps4 is finally getting some good racing game releases.

Sense. Of. Speed

Good gawt dayum

I think this will be the first racer I exclusively play in cockpit view since Nascar 4.

Stunning. Praise Sony for the PS+ version!

This game just does what i want..racing no weird open world type stuff. Like i said same thing towards Hot Pursuit 2010.

Indeed. I've been waiting for something like this since the PS1 era. The best racers I played in my life: R4 and Test Drive 5. Also, I really liked the first NFSU.

Man, this game looks stunning, I hope it feels good to drive on it too.

If the Forza Horizon 2 preview is anything to go by potentially Eurogamer.

Spending a couple of hours exploring Forza Horizon 2's world, where Playground's pliant handling model and eclectic selection of cars make joyous sense of the open roads of the European countryside, it's more than rewarding. Horizon 2 is the worthy successor to racing greats such as Project Gotham Racing 4, and as it goes against Evolution's DriveClub and Ivory Tower's The Crew, it's hard not to see the Xbox One game emerging at the head of the pack.
