I really don't get it. If Germany was some tiny country of little significance to the market place, sure but Germany is of the biggest European markets and along with France THE biggest Nintendo market in Europe.

German sales require a rating from the German board, and the devs have to pay up for that, and the cost is somewhat prohibitive. Ittle Dew might not sell enough copies in Germany to justify the expense.

If you're upset, by all means complain to the devs or the German government. I think the German ratings thing is ridiculous myself.

It absolutely is - which hasn't kept countless (read, all) other indies, a lot of them way smaller than Ludosity (who've already had some success on PC with this game and Card City Nights), from releasing their games in Germany.

They might have not made their money back (or maybe it would have been a great success, ever thought about that), but at some point it's also about getting your game out there. Just a ridiulous decision.

And I don't see the USK going away or even changing anytime soon which is both comical and deeply tragic.

Bought Mario and Luigi, even though it should have been 30% off and not only 20%. Oh well, I bought my eShop funds at 25% off so it is like I got 25% off the 80% price. I will probably buy Darksiders, but other than that, these sales are pretty bad.

I want to swap SD cards contents between two 3DS' (one is 2GB, other is 4GB). Is it as simple as copying the contents of each SD card on to PC, and then copying them back the other way? Not sure how it works with the whole DRM. How I wish I could simply share the same account between both 3DS...

er no, you'd have to do a system transfer and THEN copy the data on the SD cards

I don't think there's a limit on how many times you can do system transfers anymore, but it's probably not worth the trouble...

Yea this basically. Do you want to create an audience in one of the biggest markets with the biggest sales potential out there or not? That's the question. Ittle Dew is a Zelda-looking clone. How can it not get at least close to making its money back in the long run.

Heads up, the Mighty Gunvolt patch is now up. Just go to "Settings/Other", then find it in Your Re/Downloads.

Edit: The game itself is up as well. Like some other games, you have to buy the DLC within the game itself....though for some reason, despite the DLC being listed on the game's eShop page, it's not available for download as the game says "there is no new DLC".

I get this and daydreaming, I'd like to think that if I made Ittle Dew, I'd deal with a manageable loss if it meant getting the game out to markets like Germany and Australia. That said it's not my money to throw away, and I don't know how many units a game like Ittle Dew would need to move to break even. That said the German ratings model is both redundant and broken, given that it's keeping good games out of the country. I hope the decision-makers are listening and if anyon

Ittle Dew was initially released on Wii U in the North American region this summer, and on PC worldwide last year. It’s sold well over 100,000 copies and continues to be our strongest performer.

I would finish up BiS first then pick up a retail copy on the cheap. I did love the game, but it's very long and pretty polarizing.

So is the Mighty Gunvolt DLC actually up, because I thought it was suppose to be today?

Also, there's some new 3DS themes for purchase. Shovel Knight, Gunvolt, Mighty Gunvolt, Pikmin, & then 4 different Sonic ones (Sonic, Amy, Shadow, & Chao) with a bundle that's $5.99 (basically all of them for the price of three).

All Germans have to do is create a dummy Austrian NNID buy the game and switch back to their main NNID. I'd understand the complaints if this were a 3DS game but on Wii U it's really not that big of a deal.

I've heard a lot of bad things about the USK people. Horrible management, communications, refuse to reply to you/etc. Then there is the 300 euro min for a rating, a lot more if you don't qualify. Add conversion & bank fees, that easily becomes $400, $500/etc.

I can understand why a lot of small indies don't release in Europe often, esp more so Germany. Of course, a bigger indie like Little Dew company, should easily be able to afford it I think.

Oh I've read before that to use a different SD card on the same 3DS, you'd just copy the files to PC and then copy to the new card (without modifying anything)

To clarify, I don't want to use one 3DS contents on the other, just swap the SD cards (3DS I use to download from eshop is 2GB and it's almost full, and the other is 4GB)

Bolded: and that's exactly how it works. you're not doing a system transfer, you're just swapping SDcards which is as trivial as it gets.

I don't seem to be able to download to my external HD. I'm trying to download Darksiders2, but it says I don't have enough space. My external drive shows up under data management and it says I have over 300GB left. I already have a bunch of games on it.

Anyone know what's going on?

Any suggestions?
