Monster Hunter 3 Tri Official Site Updated

It will support at least keyboard chat as it is a standard for console MH(s). Capcom will be stupid not to include WiiSpeak for MH3 Tri as keyboard chat is tedious if using the Wiiremote + Nunchuk controls.

Can a game like this really be launched without Wii Speak or Keyboard chat? If there is no communtication I would have a hard time paying a monthly fee. I could just play single player games and have the same result.

The PSP ones don't have microphone or chat support, and they're online in JP.

I can't wait for Unite though, since if US does get MH3, it could be a long ways away.

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free

Not really...even if they added online play via Ps3.

Capcom introduce you to the Sunahara desert and let you discover the Borboros, a giant lizard which live inside it.

^ truly we bare witness to next great hunt. I really don't like hunting in harsh environments due to my constantly forgetting to get enough cooling/heating items. Oh well nice addition none the less.

I have to say this game is turning out quite nicely. Add to the fact that there's a developer out there who is ACTUALLY trying to push the outdated Wii hardware to the max.

Now, let's hope it sells well in Japan so we can see an American release on time.

Currently polling second in Australia's federal election (first in the Gold Coast), this feral may one day be your Bogan King.
I’ve never played a Monster Hunter game so I don’t really know how they play, but I’m a Diablo junkie and love hunting down big, strong shit and hoarding loot.

Will this game satisfy me?

As I remember (not sure) right now both X-Link and PS3 methods to play MH PSP games on-line work worldwide (even they aren't oficial here) and feature voice chat support, even it isn't handled by the PSP/the game.

Summer is probably September.

MH3P in March 2010 and announced in TGS 09 confirmed

Wowsers, released this summer in Japan? Crazy. We'll see how the first Wii outing will do.

I hope they don't pwn the PSP and not release any more games on the platform. I love my portable Monster Hunter.

MH3 in summer... When all the kids and folks in Japan are going to take advantage of summer break... 15 million sold by the end of the year confirmed. :lol

Still though, this is good as it might mean that the US could see a release sooner than anticipated.

Edit - Totally off topic, but I love your avatar Regulus Tara. :lol

The day MH3 gets released is the day I´ll buy a Wii. It´s my personal Most Wanted No.1

The new pics look awesome and a Japanese summer release may be a western winter release (if we are very lucky)

I am buying a Wii, simply because I cannot live without MH. My favorite games of all time, finally back on a console. I am ashamed to have not seen this thread, and will now dig through it.

Shows that the game uses real-time bacon rendering! :O

Looks like there's a hand coming out of the pig's ass with the finger reaching for the goal.

In MHP2, The pig will give you more rewards at the end of a quest if you can make it happy.

Judging by that pic, nobody will be getting any extra loot. :p
