So, according to Matt they will reveal a new, awesome, high-quality 'hardcore' game next month. Questions;

- Will it be on-rails?
- Will it be dark?
- Will it be an April Fools joke?
- Will it just be Red Steel 2, of which we will know about in two days?

Let the speculation commence.

Silent Hill? Not really "top secret" anymore after the BBFC leak, but the reveal has to be close either way.

Ah yes, March 25th sorry, but as far as being 'shown' goes all we know is NGamer will have a story on it. I dont know if it will get a big internet revealing. How longer after NGamer showed the first did it take for trailers and what-not to get online?

So Nintendo has some super secret games to combat Sony's super secret 2009 titles that were just announced as existing? Phew! I was worried.

If we're talking about a third party announcement, it'll probably Grand Theft Auto: Railway City Chronicles or Imagine: Hookerz some such nonsense.

If I had to favor a guess about which third party, I need to ask: which one was the last one to make a super-serious-sounding pronouncement about no longer creating crap/mediocre/shovelware titles for the Wii audience? (If you haven't figured-out the pattern by now, such statements usually precede announcements for these types of games.)

Subscribers already got that issue a few days ago, and there's no info on Red Steel 2 as far as I can tell.

Considering that one of them is married (IIRC) to a Nintendo PR person, you'd think some of their speculation would actually pan out.

Grand Theft Auto: Railway City Chronicles

YOU ARE: Niko Bellic, recent Eastern Bloc immigrant, currently submerged in a life of petty crime and murder deep in the bowels of Liberty City. After pissing off Little Jacob due to a misunderstanding, he straps you to the front of a LC train car in a fit of rage, and positions an infinite number of other petty thugs along the tracks to try and take you out. Armed with only your trusty Walther PP7, how long can YOU survive this heart-pounding on-rails adventure?

I'm already imagining the forthcoming wave of avatars associated with this game. Brilliant!

They're still on the whole "hardcore" thing?

Is there any reason why we have to look forward to "hardcore" games rather than just quality games in general?

"Is this what you were telling us about this morning?"

"Yah."

"Okay."

"It's uh, really good, really, really good. It's high quality and it's going to suprise you how good it is. It's a third party game that's super high quality and really awesome and uh, it's for the hardcore."

April? Not Red Steel 2 then? Spyborgs re-imagined?

What's up. Did you check out the CTYD bombed thread over there yet?

I skimmed it. Since Capcom dont really give decent answers or discussion I dont find myself caring so much about threads they wont respond too. It's normally TAS writing essays, at which point I switch off anyway. Was Andrew banned? :lol

Me and some friends hang out at a good site here. You should check it out:

Ah, I knew it. That's disappointing. The Japanese version was recorded with Japanese dialog unlike the other two main Klonoa games. Removing the "Klonoa speak" from the game will most certainly have a negative impact on its charm. Still looking forward to playing the remake, however.

I'm pretty sure the game includes an option to switch between the new voice overs and "Klonoa Speak".

Isn't this what anyone would say about the sales of their game that was just released? How many would say they are disappointed in the sales of their game that isn't even out for a month.

Wikipedia seems to think so;

The original game features voices in a fictional language unique to each character, but these have been re-acted in Japanese - although the player has the option of hearing either.

I dont know if this is included in the PAL/NTSC release though.
