Umm, 2D portraits are usually a bit pixilated on DS, here they're full-quality. What's so bad about them here?

There sure are alot of characters in this game. Too bad most of them seem to be cliches (I'm looking at you purple haired little girl).

Hopefully they do something to that effect for this, too.

The added sky definitely helped Rune Factory Frontier, but I believe it was pale green, no?

It looks like some kind of hybrid, actually. The original had the bottoms totally exposed, then the censored version had them totally covered. Now this! A perfectly fair compromise, I'd say. Perhaps superior to both.

At work today I saw a date for November, not sure if that's set in stone or will be pushed but that's the least O know.

I cant wait to buy this game i hope they include a overworld map like the old zelda ones and some nice art booklet or story book or ost cd (well actually anything cool is fine with me).

That boss was tossin they salad in the worst of way. You rarely see ass whoopins like that in a turn based RPG. I would have given up and played the rest of the game as that bosses bitch taking orders.

That gives me an idea for a game.

Considering the music is done by Mitsuda (some of Chronotrigger, Xenogears, Chrono Cross) I would jump for joy at the thought of the soundtrack being a bonus. :D

there are many info from famitsu and the official site

chibi monsters form minigames and gameplay and characters to fight against in the cameo battle arena from Luminous Arc (LOL), and different use of the trinity special skill depending on the order of the single special abilities are launched

there are some new images and videos on the official site too, can someone rip them? :D

bah, this game is totally a Tales game =/

edit: just noticed, in the sub system section of the official site there are the gameplay videos of the cameo battle

The camera switches waaaay too much once you execute your battle commands...what the hell is the point of that? The camera follows behind everone smoothly while you are choosing your commands, then it goes bonkers once the action starts :lol

Still interested though.

Rising Star confirmed a PAL release a long time ago.

Although a nice boxart is always nice to look at, it is not a factor for me at all in purchasing the game.

I am just glad it is turn-based. From looking at the screens, it looked like another Dawn of the new World.
