I wouldn't be surprised if most of these people are older than you think. Just because the drawings look absurdly childish doesn't mean they were done by actual children. I mean, I'm sure some of them are just 7 or 8 year old Sonic Fans, but I would guess that the majority of them are teens or early 20s. Anything with descriptions like "Born of Rape" is coming from a fucked up teenager (or adult with serious issues).

Well, there are two problems with this way of thinking.

1. A lot of artists do requests, especially in large, creepy communities like Furries. So while there may be 50 or 60 people in a cluster of creepiness with 'decent' quality drawings of themselves as an anorexic emo porcupine, there may actually just be a handful artists doing all the drawing.

When I was younger and trying to do the whole 'internet fantasy artist' thing, I would get asked "Can you draw my character?" all the time. Usually the descriptions were just so absurd or borderline pornographic I would flat out refuse. Draw your own 3-armed pink-skinned bionic lizard with a heart tattoo on his cheek and oh yeah, a giant cock, I'm all tapped out.

2. I would also not be surprised if their character and maybe a couple ancillary Sonic characters are all they know how to draw. A lot of these poses probably come from stuff like the Sonic Comics (i.e. Sonic and More Shitty Friends) or official art and they just draw or trace it over and over and over again.

Just because they can draw one Sonic character really well doesn't mean they have any kind of actual talent.
