Glad DC2 climbed up. I'm beginning to think it might have been a stock issue that caused the bombing launch week, considering Amazon.co.uk didn't send out any copies until the week after.

360: 53%
PS3: 29%

Apart from that the fact that that adds up to on 92% its still quite a different between 360 & PS3

It is suspected the missing part is from limited editions of the game.Dabanton said:Have those BF3 numbers been clarified yet?

I think it will probably be the same. For example, Call of Duty Black Ops was only adverticed for Xbox 360 as far as i know, and it sold 55% on the Xbox 360 and 42% on the PS3. I dont think that adverticing for one specific platform has that much affect this late on this console lifecycle.Rad- said:Imagine 360 numbers if that had been the version advertised. My god...

BKK may have better figures, but Medal of Honor sold close to 200k last year (90%) so Battlefield 3 should be around 400k.
If you live in Europe than you know shit is bombing left and right. Everything placed 15 or below on that chart has sold less than ~10k. Also, the ad campaign for Dance Central 2 is crazy on all levels and it still doesn't catch on. Something is wrong here, it might be the Euro crisis roaring its ugly head, people picking up Apple devices instead or core games like BF3 sucking the pounds and euros out of the market but videogame sales in Europe are going anywhere but up these days.Dabanton said:He'll just say he was joking.
Both KS and DC spent a lot of time in the charts, KS slowly moved up the charts week by week iirc.
With the other games out i'm surprised KS2 even got to number 15. This is an unprecedented autumn in gaming so many games out, a lot of money being spent and MW3 on the horizon.
Will be interested to see where UC3 comes in next week will PS3 BF3 sales legs fall off or will users just carry on buying BF3, ignoring UC3 or are they waiting for the following week and MW3.

Software Sales Monitor: Market jumps 36%
It was a big week for the UK games market, with the total value up by 36 per cent to £39.1m, and unit sales up by 31 per cent to 1,300,858.
The reason for the sales surge? Battlefield 3. The game is now the tenth fastest-selling game in Chart-Track history, and the most successful Battlefield launch to date.
Electronic Arts latest first-person shooter did so well, it outsold the week one performances of all previous Battlefield games combined. Thats 17 individual releases in total.
The blockbusters that will be included in next weeks sales data include Sonys Uncharted 3, Segas Sonic Generations and Activisions Goldeneye 007: Reloaded.
Zumba Fitness 2 out this month
One of the years bestselling games will get a sequel in just a few weeks.
505 Games has confirmed with MCV that it has officially signed up the rights to Zumba Fitness 2 for Wii. The game will debut on November 25th. A Kinect version will arrive in Q1 2012.
This year Zumba Fitness was UK All Formats No.1 ten times. It has been the No.1 best-selling Wii game for 26 weeks, and is on the verge of tipping past the 1m sales barrier in the UK.
Select retailers have already been pre-briefed about the new game, and there is massive excitement amongst retail about the prospect of a second version, according to 505 Games GM for UK and Export Ralph Pitt-Stanley.
The game is licensed from the popular Zumba fitness dance craze which has 10m class participants every week.
Zumba has stood out in a sea of dance games that rushed to market after Ubisofts Just Dance and its spin-offs took off.
Zumba Fitness differs to other games on the market, added Pitt-Stanley. It isnt just a dance game, it is a fun interactive, social exercise experience that fuses contagious Latin and international rhythms together. It is this fun element that resonates with the consumer and the key reason for its success.
505 Games teased details about the sequel with a high-profile ad during last weekends X Factor.
Having gained extensive insight into our target audience, X Factor was a prime show to talk about the success of the original game and highlight the release date for Zumba 2, said Pitt-Stanley. We will launch Zumba 2 with a highly targeted campaign to get the message out there for the festive period.
That certainly is a bit of a blow to XBOX in UK.. with already thin exclusive content missing out on another Kinect game is certainly not going to help them.. I hope we get PS3 & XBOX360 hardware numbers by the end of this yr..BKK said:505 Games has confirmed with MCV that it has officially signed up the rights to Zumba Fitness 2 for Wii. http://www.chart-track.co.uk/?i=1211&s=1111EAs Battlefield 3 holds off the competition to retain the No1 spot, despite a 54% drop in sales from last week.
Its the first time a Battlefield title has retained the Top Spot as the last iteration, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, was only No1 for its debut week before being dethroned by Square Enixs Final Fantasy XIII back in Week 10 2010. This means that Sony and Naughty Dogs latest installment in the PS3 exclusive Uncharted series, Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception, has to settle for second place, recording the 11th highest PS3 launch week. It achieved an increase of 37% in sales from the previous title, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, which also debuted at No2 over two years ago, pipped at the post by another EA title, FIFA 10. Segas Sonic Generations is the only other new entry to breach the Top 10 at No10 with the rest of the titles in-between jostling for position.
EAs FIFA 12 (-10%) holds at No3, ahead of Warners Batman: Arkham City (-60%), down two places to No4. Ubisofts Just Dance 3 (-10%) is at No5 for the third week in a row, moving ahead of Segas Football Manager 2012 (-43%) which is down two places to No6. Microsofts Forza Motorsport 4 (-25%) slips down a place to No7 followed by 505 Games Zumba Fitness (+35%) and Activision Blizzards Skylanders: Spyros Adventure (+17%) both holding firm at No8 and No9 respectively. The only other title to enter the Top 40 is Activision Blizzards Goldeneye classic, making its debut on Xbox 360 and PS3 this week with Goldeneye: Reloaded coming in at No16.
