That comic is cool for other situations, but this one is a bit different. If he has a working TE stick there's a good chance we can it up and running.

This is how I feel, I just wanted to post it up for Grief since I struggled to find it last week until someone else posted it for me.

It hasn't left my sight yet.

Don't know about the PS3 one, but the 360 one should be working right out of the box on PC for sure.

Who said that Thomas Was Alone was an relaxing platformer? FU. That game had the most aggravating platforming since Little Big Planet. Hell, as far as I know they even shared the same physics. How about floaty controls and jumps that need pixel perfection? Hey, how about you need to micromanage not 1 of those rocks, but 7? Doesn't that sound great?

I did really like the aesthetics, the graphics, the music and especially the narrative but sheesh! That game made me go nuts.

Wow, the PC version of SF4:AE is awesome. Runs so stable and rock solid, also the net code seems better.

Now I just wish my TE stick would work. ;(

Is your TE stick the 360 version? If so then I have the same problem with Madcatz 360 sticks and fightpads not working on my PC. For me it's the USB board, it's simply incompatible with the 360 Madcatz stuff that I've tried.

For reference, my PS3 Madcatz fightstick and fightpads (wireless Sagat "Scar" comic con one and wired SFxT pads) work perfectly and so does my wired regular 360 official Microsoft controller. It's just the 360 version of the Madcatz stuff that doesn't work on my USB board.

Oh rock of ages, do not crumble, love is breathing still. Oh lady moon shine down, a little people magic if you will.

Pixel perfection? Floaty?
Did we play the same game?
I played it on Vita, so maybe that's where the difference is.

Nice work getting all the achievements. I've found out there where collectables after completing the game. Found just one. :p

Gonna need to pick up season 1 on PC, then. Hope it goes on sale soon.

Amazon has it at 10 starting July 8, will probably pick it up then. Of course, that'll mean waiting a bit for 400 days, but oh well.

That's wild. I have an old PS3 SE stick and had to pick up a 7 dollar VIA USB card to get it running.

That's just nuts oO

The Walking Dead 400 Days DLC comes out on Wednesday. I guess that information can be used to guess when the Steam sale is coming?
That means I'll spend all Friday night playing it. 12 hours marathon, here I come!

But there's no fun allowed.
Who said sex is fun? It usually involves someone being stabbed repeatedly while screaming at the top of their lungs.

I just spent a very enjoyable 20 minutes playing the first two sections of NightSky. What a lovely game. The fact that it didn't cost me anything due to the generosity of a lovely fellow GAFer made it even more enjoyable.

Thank you kind people. You are an antidote to my usual jaundiced view of human nature, especially online.

Yeah, like Raytow said it's a USB PCI card issue and I need another kind to get 360 Madcatz stuff running seems. Took me a while to figure out that was the problem since most discussions online had people saying it was just plug and play for them. Won't need a new card since I have PS3 sticks to use but for those having a problem, check your USB card for compatibility issues with your stick/fightpad.

Well, I did play with keyboard as the game didn't recognize my PS3 controller via Xinput Wrapper so I give you that. I guess it would have been much better experience. I am on a lookout for cheap-ish 360 wired controller.

@Maxwood, I just uploaded a screenshot, it was pretty slow, then the image didn't appear until couple of refreshes but it did work

Anyone else unable to upload screenshots to the cloud? I'm getting errors while trying to do so since yesterday afternoon.
Wait, what.
So I wrote something underneath a screenshot I tried to upload, and now it worked. Without text, it refused to do anything, now it uploaded.
Weird.

I can imagine having a lot of trouble playing Thomas on a keyboard. :/ That explains a lot.
There should be an achievement for that!

GMG didn't say what key was what. I'm going to assume the first key in your mail is Borderlands 2 and the second key is the season pass. I hope so.

I found it easier with keyboard than with the Vita, really, especially the AI switching. Could just be me, though.

Was steam still uploading savegames when you tried before? Uploading screenshots will fail every time if the game is still syncing, which can take up to 5 minutes for some games.

Yeah, I read the same on various forums. Seemingly there is a workaround using some tool, but I think that only applies if the buttons work. For me, Windows recognizes it but no buttons or stick work.

I am using a first round TE stick for PS3.
Need to get that VIA card I think, playing with the 360 controller doesn't cut it.

Yes, it does sound great and it is!

That's strange. I found all collectibles on my first playthrough, so when I beat the game I had 100%ed it. My sister got me 2 achievements, the ones that requiere jumping X and Y times, because she was replaying old levels that I had already beaten, and both cheevos popped up when she was playing. So I can't honestly say I got every cheevo by myself :/

It's a great game. Glad to see you're enjoying it.

Thanks for the help, but no, i'm afraid it wasn't. Waited a good half hour, even turned off syncing savefiles....
Didn't work. Writing something stupid did, though.

I should do that more often.

EDIT: That odd moment when you hear people talking about a game, NightSky in this case, and think "that sounds familiar"...."Oh hey, I own it!" :/

I bought Resident Evil 6 / Biohazard 6 from GMG.

I doubt it will go lower during the summer sale and if it does I will bite into my table.

It's a great game. Glad to see you're enjoying it.

Thanks :). I had to force myself to stop after only playing the first two sections as I could see myself blowing right through it in just one playthrough and that would be a shame so I stopped.

It's just my sort of game. Lovely aesthetics, simple controls and not a twitch/arcade game, so I can work my way methodically through it without getting all stressed! Lovely :).

I'm so loving pc gaming; it now seems perverse that I haven't been doing it all this time!

Killing Floor just added a new achievement set, summer event related:
Mrs. Punkd
Complete 4 Summer Sideshow KFO achievements as well as two Map Completion achievements (one for objective, one for normal) for the Summer Side Show map and have the Punk'd achievement to unlock Steampunk Mrs. Foster

New map:
Modified Psychoacceleration Achiever
Beat Steamland on Hard

Looks like it has some sort of new game mode as well:
Extended Motion Protector 07/01/2013 22:41:09 0,00
Protect the ringmaster during the escort mission so that he does not get hit more than 15 times during this objective

If you like NightSky, you should definitely vote for Knytt Underground. :)
Made by the same guy. Very weird but quite lovely metroidvania like exploration platformer (try saying that ten times in a row) wich becomes frigging huuuuuuuuuge in the third chapter. Wich is the last one but actually the first, after playing for three-four hours...
...it's got some weird stuff going for it. Even the menu is a maze.

Well damn. I guess I should have bought it an hour ago. I remember it being part of last year's sale but I didn't think it'd be used again.

From what I experience, I tried to activate the first key and it said I needed to activate the original game first. Better wait it out just to be sure.

Yeah, a VIA card is highly recommended. You can find 'em at computer shops online. Just look for the large VIA logo on the chipset.

Is worms revolution steamable? I guess it doesn't matter as I'll be going to be and by the time I wake up new deals will be up.

I pretty sure (like 95% sure) it is though obviously the site is down so we can't check it for that extra 5% certainty.

Sid Meier's Railroads!

God if they do that it's going to suck. "Buy this £70 multi pack of games you already own just for the one game that you can't buy by itself any longer. Oh and you won't get giftable copies of the duplicates."
