Um, are you serious? Cuz you know that MGS has an actual fucking cowboy in the games, right? Also, MGS is inherently goofy.
But it's Metal Gear. One of the first gameplay demonstrations they had for MGS5 involved using Fulton recovery on a goat. The first footage of MGO3 ended with Snake taking a selfie with Ocelot, even.

Is that fucking cowboy the only one who can wear it? probably not. So a cowboy hat on a soldier looks just a bit too stupid for my taste.
In MGO2 they already had a playable special character whose special ability was shitting his pants and the resulting stench stunning nearby enemies.
Cowboy hats in comparison are pretty much irrelevant.

I still haven't got my head around how you can justify having vehicle parts strapped to people's heads but none of the rest. How far can you stretch the 'it's ok because it's Metal Gear related' clause? Can I wear Sunny on my head?

I hope MGO has so much customization that I wear some cool hats for my female character.
That hat fits Skull Face's style. Shinkawa designed him that way. Putting random hats on other characters /random characters can look silly. I think that is what Sn4ke is talking about.
Why?!
I'm sure we can design our characters in a way that makes the hat fit. Also, what style fits a Chicken hat?

This thread is shenanigans. MGS is the most goofy nongoofy series I have ever played. Porn is a gameplay mechanic and someone is complaining about a cowboy hat.
he's a 12 year old kid, I highly doubt he's playable.
Again it fits the character. Woud you really be ok if Big Boss runs around with a bikini top?
because story characters like Big Boss or Ocelot will be playable in MGO.
