I guess that makes sense. It serves as its own stand, since it's not like many people have one big enough for it.

I would understand if this was specifically for a monitor, not a TV. A lot of businesses change up the orientation for different displays.

Edit: oh, the design is already out. What does the promo picture have to do with that??

Unfortunately since HDMI 2.0 isn't available and it doesn't include dual-sync DisplayPort/DVI ... I'm afraid this thing many not be future proofed for the upcoming 4k media format.

I'm also curious if it's 3D. And if so, whether they've finally moved to passive yet.

Not sure what's worse, the pleated pants or the TV stand.

How are you suppose to hide the wires with that thing?

I still think the sony bravia is the best looking tv.
