Concurrent number of Steam users seems to peak at around 11:00am, PST. Would that be the best time to try and coordinate a global strike on the ARG?
So, when the Geomask gets smaller, does the Output image become less clear at the same time, or does it only ever get clearer? If the quality doesn't actually degrade we could theoretically clear it up by just making repeated pushes every hour or so?
Misriah Solutions has set a time to attempt it again tomorrow. 10pm EDT/EST (whichever it is right now lol).

That's our best bet for time. In the meantime, we need to try to spread the word as much as possible. Maybe some Bungie fans can hit up Halo related forums to try to get word out that way? As well as the usual Social Networks of Twitter/FB/Instagram/Kaboodlistism?
Note: Kaboodlistism is not a real social network. Or at least I think it isn't.
Heh, that's me and I think I'm changing it to 11:00am PST. (2:00pm EST)
Should work much better for Europe. We need this to be a global effort.
A part of me wishes the entire internet would agree to give up, forcing Bungie to just announce it.

GOT IT! After hours of deciphering and altering urls and stuff like that, it led me to this.
What does it mean?
Image changed and the text is almost visible.
Pretty much. We'll get a new message each day until next week when I assume they'll do the full reveal.I think they have to give us a new message every day so I imagine the text will become clear no matter what....
Assuming this is a weekly event, and on every Monday, it would end on the first day of the Game Developers Conference.
Perhaps we're supposed to unlock something on each Monday and prepare for the following Monday during the week? We'll see.

Interesting theory on the Bungie forums regarding the time of the ARG. Thus far we've all guessed that it must by 7 days but this poster posits that it could be 7 weeks, updating once per week.
Here's a composite from 8:49 to 10:43. I don't think we're going to get anywhere with it a composite.
The points on the star map is just a projection of the world high above Africa, repeated several times onto the plane, at different angles.
If you look at this animation, you can see in the upper left hand the east coast down to Florida rotating into view.
The original URL says 'day=0'. So I'm just going to assume it's a day thing. 7 weeks seems like a long time.Interesting theory on the Bungie forums regarding the time of the ARG. Bungie is everywhere.Could this banner ad really just be a coincidence?

Nope, don't see it.
Isn't Bungie having a panel and talking about 'Destiny' at GDC. So for it to end around the same time they do there panel would also make sense.Day 0 is a term that usually just represents the beginning of an event. Of course it could definitely still be a daily thing. I just think that the timing lining up to GDC works out rather well and seems to make more sense than ending up a few days before the Sony Conference. If it is indeed lined up with an MS announcement, GDC makes sense. Also the pattern of previous Bungie ARGs lasting quite awhile also fits with the Weeks theory.
One question:
Are people remembering the concept and art and rumors we got last year?
Something about an odd sphere howering over Earth and such?
Does any of those give a hint for this ARG?
Theres a ton of noise, but you can see it rotating to counter clockwise around a north-south axis. It appears that it's made up of 2D billboards that are jumping in and out of view.
I agree with this. I'm just done with all the bs involved with marketing.

Pretty neat. Those circles are pretty close. From Ptolemy's Almagest.
From Ptolemy's Almagest.
Dead on! Amazing eye. I knew I had seen it before, but would have never placed it:
From the Almagest:
"The cosmology of the Almagest includes five main points, each of which is the subject of a chapter in Book I. What follows is a close paraphrase of Ptolemy's own words from Toomer's translation.
The celestial realm is spherical, and moves as a sphere.
The Earth is a sphere.
The Earth is at the center of the cosmos.
The Earth, in relation to the distance of the fixed stars, has no appreciable size and must be treated as a mathematical point.
The Earth does not move."
overlay of what has been posted after 10pm, yes it does look like it.
It is always incredible. The whole Phantom Pain/MGSV thing absolutely blew my mind.I'm only mildly interested in the game (I haven't liked a single MMOFPS I've tried) but watching Detective-GAF work in real-time is a thing of beauty.
whats the clearest image we've gotten?
I hope in a few years this crap stops. I hate teasers of teasers of possible teasers.
