Might give MH another go and jump in on this with my friends who are big into that series. Great to finally have an option for the television again!
The Monster Hunter games have, overall, only gotten better and better over time, in my opinion.

3U was hard? It was my first MH and I loved it (over 200hr) but it was a bit frustrating sometimes.
I hope I don't feel this is a step down

At this point, I'll take anything over that 240p yellow tinted screen.
I mean, I still have very heavy doubts about Capcom that a last gen port will not erase.
It'll probably play like a 3DS game, so it'll be clunky as hell. If you can accept that, then XX is a fine place to start.

MH3U was 1080p on Wii U. Any chance of a 60fps XX? That would be neat.

Probably will. MHTri was 480p on Wii, so going to 1080/60 (Stuttery) might've been a tiny bit taxing. Can't imagine going from 240p to 720p/1080p/60fps will be more taxing

I'm curious about the port itself from a technical perspective.
I hope this never happens because (Camera controls aside - not talking about a lock on here btw) controls are the best thing about MH.
