Is Anime one of the dirtiest entertaiment businesses out there?

The animators get paid even less than people working at McDonalds. Minimum wage.

Is that true?

The amount of skill involved in that profession far out weighs your basic job at Mcdonalds (which is essentially no skill). How can they justify it?

Is there any business in general that isn't dirty? But especially entertainment based businesses. It's all a big dirty, dirty scam. The whole world is dirty. The oceans should be hand sanitizer. It's the only way.

It is pretty exploitative. Exploiting the workers with low wages, the fans with high prices, etc.

Most businesses are though. Take fast food. The workers make shit, they food is unhealthy shit, the animals are living in shit conditions and then die an early death, etc.

I don't get it. Are you hating on it? Because... in your fetish thread you posted:

I love this thread so much, if only I wasn't out of popcorn

"Good" anime doesn't sell very well, just look at Dennou Coil. 10 years in the making and it was a financial bomb.

Yeah but critically acclaimed works often don't do well financially in most any media

Is that also the reason the standard length of a series dropped from 25/26 episodes to 13?

Perhaps but I for one embrace shorter shows. It usually results in better pacing, less filler, and better budgeting for actual animation.

Is it me or has the OP shot out of nowhere to become one of the top weird OT thread creators?

Edit:

He's the dude who animated most of the End Of Evangelion fight, right? Dos he not do anime at all anymore?

He's pretty prolific already. He makes decent gaming threads, tho.

No one has to justify it. If you chose to work in anime you know what you're getting yourself in to.

One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
It's not like people work in anime because they desperately need a job. The field demands skill and training, and the people who go into it likely want to be there.

Well, South Korean/Chinese animation sweatshops aside.

I have never seen 'legal animated kiddy porn' anywhere, and I doubt that it exists, not by any professional anime artists/animators anyways. at most there are those 'loli' pics. so dunno wut you talkin about.

And so you shouldn't.

But it does exist.

The OP injected too much of his weird bullshit into the thread, so now it is about him and not the anime industry. Probably on purpose, judging by that fetish post.

I went to the Pinoy site to watch Attack on Titan, there's something on there called "Bathtime with Hinako" it backs up the OP.

Yeah I watched some of it.
