How would people feel if I created a new thread for kickstarter? the thread will be for listing projects and links on gaf, but it will make this thread redundant.

it would be in this format:

Kickstarter Thread | List of gaming kickstarts

HLekO.png

Central thread listing Kickstarter projects, feel free to post new projects here.
Know about a new project? post here or send a link to the thread.

Cool. Can I make a minor complaint?
Given how it's supposed to be a index thread, it would be neat to have in the first post not just a link for each specific thread about a Kickstarter project, but also a quick link to their Kickstarter page.

I could do, however the only problem is that the character count of the post goes a lot faster right now it's around 5000 out of 25000, with the extra links it would go pretty fast, another reason is that the threads already contain all the information so people can still collaborate and talk about the projects.

heck i'm gonna donna it.

I second this. Also thanks for the order by date =)
Something like this would help me plan my monies heh.

Even when you use something like a link shortner?
(or I might be confusing what you said earlier)

Tbh though, linking the thread is fine, but in some instances it was linked to a thread, which was linked to the announcement page, which was linked to the kickstarter page :p

I could probably do this instead, probably have to claim 1,2 post afterwards.

edit it's up.

Hopefully you do it fast, MRORANGE! I think some of those Kickstarters need help! Specially the Starlight Inception one.

EDIT: Nevermind, you got it up while I was typing!

Just found out about Chuck's Challenge 3D.

I was a big fan of Chip's Challenge ages ago, and this is an approximate sequel/remake. Looks like there's already an iDevice title (without the 3D), but this would be a remake on PC using Unity. It's about two thirds of the way to the goal with a week to go right now.

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/paultozour/city-conquest-tower-defense-evolved

A tower-defense game for iDevices & Android by Paul Tozour, a veteran game designer who has worked in a lot of games (from WarBreads to Metroid Prime 3).

Hi -- if it's not against the forum rules for me to respond to a post mentioning me and my game, I just wanted to offer a slight correction to the above post -- it's not really a tower-defense game; it's a strategy game with some tower defense elements. It combines offense as well as defense, and once you play it enough you quickly begin to realize it's very different from anything else on the market.

Also, I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules if I mention the game is now available for free limited download ($4.99 in-app purchase required to unlock the full game). The free version offers 5 single-player campaign missions and 1 challenge mission and also lets you play multiplayer for free. So, please go ahead and download it and join us in the multiplayer lobby!
