Why would Atlus throw their games into a den of filthy pirates and perverts? Everyone knows PCs are only to play porn games and download pirated stuff.

Btw Happy Birthday Mr guy with a hat.

Btw I'm laughing at everyone who said it's totally impossible there's some kind of deal between Sony and Square Enix regarding Nier.

The Asia version was delayed for a month to add Chinese localization (even for countries that don't speak Chinese, because.... reasons?).
PS4 version releases, PC version right after.
Except the PC version doesn't even have chinese localization, it's the exact same game the rest of the world has already been playing for a month.

It's a shame such a good game fell victim to such horrid handling by the publisher. And I think it still remains one of the best selling $60 games for 2017 on Steam right?

Having read this article, about how they had to port FF7, essentially having to reprogram everything in Direct3D without any documentation, I'm amazed that any JRPG from an insular development studio (so essentially everything from Japan) runs on the PC without hard crashes and causing blue screens. Was this also out-sourced to a team in the West?
Expecting them to also follow best practices is just pushing it.
Very interesting, thanks!

It already saw a jump in owner numbers after the asia release despite SteamSpy not having 3 day data.
On the other hand it's also currently getting (understandably) review bombed by the chinese at al. (Apparently other SE titles are getting review bombed because of this as well).

I'm extremely curious how this will affect long term sales.

I like the games Atlus make, but they're kind of an awful company, who will never, ever do what people want.
I might still be bitter about having to wait two and a half years for a digital only version of SMT IV.

it almost feels like SE is trying their hardest to sabotage the pc release for no reason

and they also have enough money on denuvo...

Prophecy of Pendor's loading screen is art. It's remarkably charming.
(POP is a Mount&Blade: Warband total conversion mod available through the Workshop.)

Yes... literal art.

It is one be the best loading screens I've ever seen.
You do realize that penultimate means "second to last," right?

...Huh. Like Tizoc, I thought it was second from first.

You should make a thread about this revelation. It fully supports that Barenstein universe theory.

Man those are the most "its a living" facial expressions possible.

Even the dead guys.

I like the central dying guy's face -- it's like life was pretty crappy back then anyway, so he's pretty indifferent either way -- "This is fine".

There's really no subtitles in Stalker: Shadow of Chernybyl?

I don't know for sure but I wouldn't be surprised. It was almost a miracle the game ever got released in the first place. I remember it was in development hell for ages and the pre-release build leaked a couple of times before it actually came out.

Yeah, I know it problems back in the day, but it's supposed to be quite the experience with the mods installed. Although, I'm already bored of them game ugh.

That castle location in Nier gave me Ico vibes, it was superb. Anyway 23% sides achieved, I'm liking the game but in my opinion some sides are awful. The soundtrack is amazing. Also happy birthday guy in a hat.

My blasé-go-lucky character in Shadowrun HK has the unintended side effect of turning my team kinda evil. Apparently none of these people have a moral compass.

Steam In Home Streaming is pretty cool. I was even able to stream some Diablo 3. I need to get another powerline adapter in the future, was having slight hiccups with the wifi.

I am half way through Ballad of Gay Tony DLC and it really is fun DLC. It is more-less template for GTA V and there is a lot of content for a DLC. That made me even more sad that we never saw SP DLC for GTA V :/

Okay, wrong place to ask, but not sure where else... but... does anyone know how to get rid of this frame on VLC? It it too much to ask for a video being reasonable size and a playlist docked on the side?

Was looking at manhunt reviews and seen this guy had almost 10000 hours played of it..amongst other things.

Some people idle games to increase their playtime. I have no idea why they do that. It's especially obvious in games that have achievements that pop for simply playing the game (beat a level, kill x number enemies) and they have none of them.

Finished DoW III

A good but not a great game.

Biggest issue is, how the story is only presented in form of concept art with voicer over. That's just really cheap and boring.

The AI can also be pretty braindead at times.

The mission design however is really good and varied, only 2 or 3 of the 17 missions were about destroying enemy bases.

The potato masher threads are always entertaining and attracts the biggest crazies so it's also a great way to increase your ignore list.

Been playing Alice Madness Returns here and there. Had to play the end of the first chapter and almost the entire second chapter again because it seems like my checkpoint was overwritten by an earlier save or something. And the chapter select didn't give me an option to go to where I had been before.

Ew. Unless your game is like $20 bucks there's no execuse for that

Is 56C+ considered hot for a GPU under load? I think my gaming is exacerbating my air conditioning issues.

Nope. I'd be worried if it exceeds 80C.

Talk about GPUs, anyone here run OC? I want small, stable OC for my 1070, can I just raise the GPU Clock and Memory Clock in Afterburner and done? Do I have to mess it voltages or can it do that automatically?
