This is exactly what I was thinking. I wasn't even looking forward to the game until 15 minutes ago when I started looking at this thread.

Seriously. That's my biggest beef with pirates, frankly. They get a hold of the game before paying customers and fucking post spoilers everywhere. I mean, get your eye patch and parrot on, but shut the hell up about what happens in mission 3 until everybody has a chance to play. Assholes.

If it ain't gamebreaking, it's a bonus. Example: Cougar man in Red Dead Redemption.

Edit: Seems like 3rd person camera may be better.

Kind of like me. I didn't knew if I should pick it up digital or box and on launch or later. Saw some videos this morning, preordered on steam.

Heck, after seeing the stream i'll gladly buy it again if it unlocked rigth now. I got time to waste and I'm home alone! Thankfully Alpha protocol will finish downloading soon.

As far as I can tell, the best deal for this game:

If PC, it's Best Buy. You get 500 RZ points for preordering, which is a $10 GC. You also get free coasters.

On console, Amazon. You get a $10 gaming GC, and don't have to wait a month+ like at Best Buy.

The digital packs all looked roughly equivalent to me. Did I miss anything? I have a preorder in at Amazon for the 360 version, but am giving serious thought to hitting it up on PC instead.

The wiki says the binoculars can be purchased in game. From reading the bethesda forums the canteen in the Gamestop preorder is the only canteen in the game that isn't attached to some armors. Not sure on the other stuff.

put it on hardcore mode... but mod out the weight for ammo.... FIXED
because weight for ammo is stupid

Glad I put my refund request in when I did, would have been out $50 bones. Though I've been hearing from some folks that it is not as bad as the press has made it seem.

There was some huge preview done by a German press site that had awful things to say about it.

Anyway, holy fuck I'm so ready for another Fallout game. And original devs? Count me in guys. I really hope there are some awesome Easter egg areas in the game such as
Andale, the cannibal town
. Wouldn't mind another mission similar to Point Lookout
swamp cult, steal book. So Lovecraftian I couldn't get enough
