It uses local time, so I don't think so. It used to say "10th" too.

Depends on where you are. E.g. the RU store page says:

Available: 10 November
This game will unlock in approximately 6 days and 21 hours

While the AU one says:

Available: 9 November
This game will unlock in approximately 5 days and 19 hours

I'm in PST and it says it's unlocking in 6 days and 11 hours. So a midnight release, but it's right before midnight in each region so steam files it under the 9th.

For some it releases on the 9th. Gamestop has a 9PM release in the US west coast to match with the Eastern release

I thought this too. With a VPN, we should all be able to unlock it on the morning (around 10AM EST) of the 9th. Not sure if this is still true or not.

FlyVPN is free and has servers in AU/NZ, but there is a 20-minute session time limit to be mindful of. Free VPN servers in the broader Oceania region are exceedingly rare, unfortunately.

Steam website says the 9th for me as well, I'm in NYC, but the counter says 6 days 10 hours, which works out to 12am on Nov 10. So yeah it's probably nothing.

LOL, Bethesda, trying to do whatever they can not to share their release date with Tomb Raider. Everyone questioned rather Tomb Raider would get delayed, but Bethesda was tired for waiting around, so they just moved ahead.
