They really need to add some smaller bands with nice riffs - there are a ton out there (Thrice comes to mind - singing isn't great, but the guitar is).

I tried watching your video but they kept going on and on and the skull guy was talking and some kind of space ship and blah still no music yet and then this lady is walking and the army guy is blowing smoke and I got really bored and turned it off, so I guess i'll never know how awesome Hanger 18 is, what a shame.

Seems like everytime another awesome band is listed I get excited until I see the song-title.

Is red octane getting some discount from dodging all the popular tunes and going for the obscure duds instead??

They do it on purpose because nobody wants to hear songs that have already been played out by the radio.

In the new EGM, they said, "A lot of times when you go with the most obvious songs...the problem is it's so played out that it's almost too familiar to people. When you pick a hit, but it's a lesser-known hit, it actually gets a better emotional response." I have to agree with them. For example, I love "Welcome to the Jungle," so for months I was telling SnakeXs how I wanted it in GH2. When Sweet Child O'Mine was announced, I was sorta bummed, but then I realized that I actually liked it so much more because I hadn't already heard it a million times. :)

Did you just call Hangar 18 an obscure dud? It's easily Megadeth's best known song other than Symphony of Destruction, which was already covered in the first game.

Could you people please at least TRY to get a clue before posting? Avenged Sevenfold are as far from emo as you can get in this game. They're straight-laced, 80's-inspired solo-filled and pinched-balls-sung metal.
