Hopefully we'll see it at E3. Even if it's just another CG teaser.

I dislike the fact that they don't explicitly state sequel or prequel. So now I'm fully expecting a BG&E MOBA.

I don't think one precludes the other. Hopefully Wild will be out next year and then Ancel can shift his attention fully to BG&E2.

I don't think this will be exclusive to anything. Ubi will want to give it the best sales chance possible, and like Rayman Legends limiting it to one platform only would be a bad strategy.

I look forward to Beyond Good and Evil Pinball on iOS and Android coming 2017.

Wonder if it'll be a sequel or a reboot. Would be cool to see them do a full remake of the original, but then that'd just leave us in the same spot story-wise.

You say that, but you might perhaps forget that Wild is made by another game company. Michel's own company. So I don't know how things are managed between Ubisoft and him but he seems flexible enough to work on both projects.

What a bad was to announce this game is back in development lol - Ubi doesnt care lets be honest.

Slightly weird announcement... the game was confirmed to be in development back in 2008, and as far as I know they've continued to confirm it's existence every time they've beem directly asked.

Just hopefully this means that we might actually see the game get released relatively soon. I'm so ready.

someone should REALLY ask what platforms will this appear on.

if they say "we can't disclose that" or ignore the question, it's guaranteed to be related to NX

if they say "oh sure, here's the info: PS4 and X1, did people think about anything else?" then that's that

I'm pretty sure Ubi spokespersons and Ancel himself have said at least a couple of times that the game was in development.

Sure, but do we even know if Ancel is the game director on that? He could be the creative director or producer, but not necessarily having a day-to-day hands on approach. Who knows how his work is split between Ubi and Wild Sheep.


Also, for those questioning - I sincerely doubt Crossing Eden follows the wrong Facebook page as far as Ubisoft is concerned.

That's one hell of an unceremonious way to announce something that many people would consider to be huge news. And they've made that classic Square Enix faux pa of announcing a game the moment it's begun development. I have no idea why companies do that.

Welp, see you in four years time Beyond Good & Evil 2. At the very least, you haven't got Nomura at the helm.

Why didn't they wait for PSX or NX reveal for a megaton announcement?

It's not like this is some remaster or low tier game like Senran Kagura or Danganronpa collection.

They didnt showed off much other then the pic we already knew, so whenever a trailer or something surfaces it will still be a megaton...
