Have my doubts from the beta but went ahead and preordered the digital deluxe edition last night. The original is so good, even a half as good TF2 will be better imho than anything else.

I've never played the original TF, but how much worse has the Titan charged meter still affect the game since the testing?

Damn, some of the multiplayer vids from FrothyOmen have some incredible movement going on... Getting more and more pumped for this game.

Looks incredible. Just hope Homestead and Kodai aren't weighted too highly in matchmaking for modes outside of Last Titan Standing.
Nah, at least the PC test they did recently... Nope. Fundamentally broken mode imo, but we'll have to see.
I'm not happy that the slide-hopping made it in. So stupid looking...

The previews going up now are based on the final, launch day build, so in effect, these are reviews of the MP. It was playable on PC (we listed down the specs in the preview), but they also had it playable on PS4 Pro (SP only).
Our Titanfall 2 interview is embargoed until review embargo lifts, which kinda sucks since most of the stuff there are MP-related.

Currently trying to get through the delightful and deceptively monstrous DQ:Builders in time for next friday. I believe in Titanfall 2. I want to see more games that don't split the user-base with maps succeed on console.
Yup, started earlier this morning! Got the download started when I was able to get on PSN for a brief moment, haha.
It does seem like a good amount of changes have taken place since the tech test, just a shame that there is no EA Access trial for people that are on the fence.
I'm still not sold. That beta really hurt me. Game just wasn't fun.

This. 99% of people's problems with Titanfall came from Attrition's weird lack of focus and nonsense. Other game modes felt really great with all of the systems they put in the game.

Yarp. Slide hopping looks so dumb.
If they're going to have a hopping mechanic, just have a hopping mechanic. Not this weird frankenstein exploity nonsense.

Yeah, was just watching that one. He wasn't a fan of the tech test but is very positive about this final build.
Definitely helpful and sounds positive.
Here's the problem though: I already dropped money on Battlefield, so my month's pretty much booked up. At no point in this year did I expect to go with BF1 over TF2, but it happened.
I ultimately trust respawn to some degree, I really do. I'm expecting their DLC to knock it out of the park, so I will likely get this game down the road. But it's DEFINITELY not a day one purchase. I need to hear a wide variety of player impressions first. I have to see how it evolves. I started this year with a lot of trust, and a lot of it was chipped away. It's gonna take some time for me to feel comfortable.

Nice, most likely going for PC but how was the PS4 Pro verison?

I have Battlefield 1 and I'm picking up Titanfall 2. I'd say do it as they are two different types of gameplay experiences.
Yeah, but they are both Multiplayer FPS, and I thought I may get underwhelmed. I also have Rainbow Six Siege since launch, don't play it often though, maybe stop playing at all because of BF1 and other games. This year is really well packed with multiplayer shooters.
