Seriously, I'm going into this expecting a cheese-fest and dialing back my brain to "Impressionable Youth" setting. Part of me hopes they're being self-aware with the corny writing, but it really won't matter in the end.
I'll blast through the story at least once as a silly (hopefully hilarious) appetiser before the main multiplayer course.

Most of the issues with the tech test were resolved within the 2nd week of it... there were still some questionable things like embarking your Titan in 3rd vs 1st person (they obviously want you to see your purdy Titan skins), no overshield on Titan until installing a Battery, and map design (new maps look better). But nothing incredibly worrying or worthy of a delay.
I'd say they are confident in both MP and SP.
Awesome. I'm excited to see reviews for this. It's still firmly in rental territory, but I could see picking it up if SP turns out amazing and it keeps improving from where it was at the end of the beta.

That's great. I'm sure a lot of people are looking forward to reading it. Personally, I'm still skeptical of stuff like the shield removal and battery implementation. Considering careful Titan play was my favorite part of 1, I absolutely loathed getting burned down instantly in the beta where all damage went straight to your health. It's just a bad gameplay change, to me.
Wait.. When you get into the Titan it's in 3rd Person? Why would they do that? I loved it being first person in the first Titanfall. Always felt like a badass moment when you boarded.

I do hope they at least add the option to choose between 3rd and 1st person when embarking your Titan. I vastly preferred 1st Person when I recently tried Titanfall 1 again. Same with execution animations.

I've been thinking about this lately and i'm pretty sure at this point,Jason West is a huge lost for Respawn and it seems he was the mastermind behind singlplayer stuff back in CoD days.
I'm going to buy TF2 and i'm going to play a lot but they released tons of singleplayer videos and non of them creates a proper hype and i don't want to admit it but Source Engine is really showing it's age for a scale that Respawn want to create with singleplayer.

Campaign looks good to me and the chemistry between the player and BT looks pretty awesome. Gonna be a cool single player story.

Just played my first match of Attrition on Angel City in the original Titanfall. It makes me sad that I didn't have a good enough PC or an Xbox One at the time of it's launch. It's basically what I wanted out of Halo 5's Warzone IE: I can run around and kill AI enemies and maybe the occasional enemy player. Funny enough, I didn't get my usual anxiety once I got into a Titan.
I can see a bit why the mode was so requested for the second game. Though it's a bit sad to see no Frontier Defense (Pretty much all I played) yet, here's hoping that gets added back in as well!
