So wait, weren't all the other faux shining games just called like Shining Tears and the like? Were any of them (besides feather) actually referred to as "Shining Force"?

Heck, the first game isn't even a Shining Force game. >_>
I could understand the complaint if the title is Shining Force and it's not an SRPG (although I do like Exa), but complaining that the game is not a Shining Force game when the name isn't even Shining Force is kinda annoying.
Then again the people at Shining Force Central tend to be like that.

Yeah Sega has been doing this for the longest time. It's all good though considering outside of a couple exceptions all of the Shining games are decent to fantastic.
I think I'll have to snag a new battery for my Saturn and play some Shining Wisdom. Great soundtrack.

Flight Plan games can really range from totally fuck awesome (the GBA games) to totally batfuck shitty (the DS game). Their PS2 games all fall inbetween those. I, for one, welcome anything from them, but they really need to stick with SRPGs on the main consoles.

We already missed Wind on PS2, and SEGA is still silent about Feather DS (unless its getting a World Destruction-like localization, see you in 2011 DS game then) so I wonder what are the chances this new one will get localized and if that would be before Mayans vanish from the universe.

This could be Tales all over again. Where Sega trademarked more than one name, but ended up using only one.
Gear was the only sign of the next SF game, Cross was only heard of from the trademark database, plus the game's supposed to be out this year, and Feather just came out right?
It'd be very odd for more than two SF games to be out in one year right?
Hell, there have been some years where none were released, like last year right?

Shining in the Darkness was/is goddamn amazing. My favourite thing about it was the sequence at the beginning of every fight where the enemies would phase in one by one and screech.wrowa said:wat?
