Final Fantasy X remake was a surprise when it was announced. Recently Square-Enix stated that not only Final Fantasy X will be remake in Sony platforms, Final Fantasy X-2 will be there too. Both games will come in one disc for PS3 and they will come in separate SKUs for Vita.

One source told us that there was a surprise in the pricing information available for the PS3 version. It appears that both titles will feature additional content as DLC.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD retail disc $39.99 (Already known because it is listed in Amazon lists)

Final Fantasy X International Additions $4.99

Final Fantasy X-2 International Additions $4.99

Final Fantasy X-2 Last Mission $2.99*

*Requires the purchase of Final Fantasy X-2 International Additions

At this moment we dont know if Vita version will feature the same DLC packages but it is very possible that it will have the same contents available at launch.

Well, I had planned to maybe buy it when it was $10, but now it is never, if this is true. Fucking DLC man, fucking DLC.

Only Square Enix could add content to a game from the pre-DLC era then make parts of it DLC.

Still, will wait to hear final word, but I'd be shocked if it wasn't true.

This can't be true. They've announced that the games will come with International content. And for some people, it would also amount to removing content from what they had in the original.

If it is true though, I'm out. I was really looking forward to this, but putting DLC in an HD collection like this means I won't be supporting it.

I'd like to add that Sega did this with Sonic Adventure and SA2. The DX/Battle content was locked away as DLC. So, you know, others have done this. Edit: Beaten.

It's still bollocks though, if real.

You know, it can be possible that FFX|X-2 HD Remaster (PS3) will have separate international content but the Vita versions having the international content (and priced at $29.99-$39.99).
