I just set it to connect and left it auto trying while its alt tabbed - no idea how long I left it running (easily +30 minutes).

I swear this game is just trolling me. Servers go down right when its done downloading, now it showed attempting match making a couple of times before going back server not found.

Yeah looking at the format of the numbers it looks like VRAM. Which is obviously not right but would explain the issues.

VRAM, yes. And yes, that's on Insane textures.
Funny, running at 4k, it only increases by about ~300MB :/

It would be nice if we could get a word from DKo5 (on vince on twitter) on this, I've never seen a game use so much vram just sitting at a menu with no game assets loaded at all - I'm not even connected to a data centre now and my vram is almost full.

One of the guys from Respawn was here earlier. He tried to help me figure it out so I could get the game performing properly. He was talking about how they got a bunch of Nvidia GTX 770s in their offices to work with on the game (same card as mines) and he mentioned that the game should run fine on 'Insane' textures.

I also have weird problems where it disconnects me, but that might just be due to being out of VRAM and the game chucks me back out.

Got in to the PC beta, pretty excited! Fucking Gmail shuffled it off to Promotions so I never got an alert about it. Thank God I was looking for something else or I'd have missed it.

So, I'm not read up on this beta: is there any NDA or limit of coverage, or could I stream this out to my friends?

Well, I am trying, but on PC, I still haven't seen Titanfall to this point. Honestly, I was hoping the infinite power of the cloud and these nearly infinite Microsoft servers would eliminate these kind of issues. I just assumed getting into a server wouldn't be a problem since they can spin up as many as needed, I just thought the netcode itself may run inconsistent in the beta.



However, its a beta, so this should help them iron this out before launch.

We told ourselves the same thing for BF4 and look how THAT turned out!

I'm such an idiot, I got into west Europe and instead of just going for the tutorial I went for a game, me and 1 other person waiting and then BOOM, dropped out of the match and back to the main menu!.

LOL.
