Time to turn on that PS3 and tolerate some 20 fps moments, small fov, the camera clipping into monsters as you climb them, and your character inside a monster while grappling them. Its not gonna hurt, not too much. :)
The screenshot feature in-game was made for PC. Game has some collision issues, especially when the monster falls right on your as your still grappling it haha.

I'll buy it on Steam if Capcom does the right thing, but you know, Capcom will Capcpom.

My PS3 went kaboom about a year ago. :( I was supposed to borrow a mate's one before he left for work (he does FIFO so he's away for four weeks at a time), but I completely forgot.

Ask yourself, do you really want to start a PSN collection?

Gonna poop on the party and say that despite 3dfx support Turok 1 felt like a cheap console port of an average shooter, the viewing distance was severly limited by the fog that was necessary on N64, the controls were wonky and afair it didn't have quicksave which was a big deal back then. Level design was poor also, very flat and huge amounts of nothing.

That might have been the case and I am sure that a revisitation would only lead to frustration, I will just hold on to my fond memories of the game.

I was playing The Knife of Dunwall, the new levels feel pretty well, and the game is still as beautiful as ever. I appreciate the new blink ability, pausing time as I aim for my destination gives me time to plan my escape or attack, thus I won't panic whenever I'm about to be seen.

That sad moment when you realise a new Steam release (e.g. Angvik) was one you didn't include in your building of a Groupees bundle. It's not quite 'Steam library -1', but it's close. What was I thinking?

The "C" in my username stands for "Cunt". :p

This none-too-subtle tag fishing hasn't gone unnoticed, Jase.

Haha, the PS3 was actually my preferred platform from April 2008 (GTA4 bundle) to around the time I purchased a GTX 570 in August 2011. The last PSN game I ever bought was Joe Danger.

To protect against this I always select everything, even if some of the items are DRM-free.

Haha, tag fishing has always seemed pointless to me. I feel that the appeal of a tag is the sense of pride or shame that comes with one being stamped on you for something you've done. If I wanted a tag badly enough I'd just have my username changed and get "formerly JaseC". ;)

I started playing Deadly Premonition yesterday and I didn't even know it was the 25th anniversary of Laura Palmer's death. I'm loving this coincidence.

What makes the game great? Everyone here seems to like it for some reason.

I rather want to know where the gifs are from, not the videos :)

It's not great, but it isn't a bad game too. I don't remember it that well, except that one of my friends was fan of it, played like 2-3 times through all thing. It is rather an old game though, not sure how it plays now. I noticed that even if tb RPGs plays nicely decades after, ARPGs somehow doesn't get better with time.

Sudeki at 5 bucks?
I can buy that right now. Thought it would be priced at 10.

And it has cards, I assume, these will be rather expensive if a game doesn't sell good, for a time at least.

Most will probably wait for a bundle but Type:Rider, 50% for a few more hours on Steam, is a nice gaming snack if someone wants something not very demanding for inbetween. Has a Limbo-like style, an original theme and you learn something (history of the written word and fonts).

Sudeki has cards and Steam cloud? That's how you do these rereleases.

According to the wiki it is supposed to be an updated and enhanced version. Are Steam cards and cloud the only enhancement?

I think I died once or twice on him learning his patterns, but even on hard, he wasn't that bad.

I think Mecha Pon was probably the most annoying for me, but that's because it zooms out so far and the hit detection on his body is weird. :\

Yay I beat him. I took a way less aggressive approach and was way more careful with my Option Cs this morning. Still took me 3-4 more tries to get his pattern down.

Sudeki at $5? Damn that's a nice price point.

So I broke down and picked up Plague Inc: Evolved on Early Access. I think one of only 3-4 games I've paid full price for in the last year.

The game is seriously cool. I really enjoyed the tablet version, but I find the mouse much easier to use than the touch screen for this type of game. While there isn't much innovation in this version over it's mobile counterpart, they obviously have a lot of things planned for the future.

I had about 2 hours to kill this evening and was able to get over 1/2 of the game's achievements that are currently unlockable in that time. I'll probably play it again this week and mop up the rest of them. Then when the game is closer to being finished, I'll play through again.

Yes, the price is kinda ridiculous for a game that is essentially free/cheap on mobile. But there is quite a bit of content here (and more on the way) to keep you occupied for a few hours, meaning the game passes my "better value than a movie ticket" test.

Thanks for the impressions, enjoyed the mobile version quite a bit as well.

I'd like to see where you get your gifs from :)

Not sure if serious....

oh yeah, let me bitch once again about pac man museum not having a store page. It theoretically comes out on wednesday and if you prepurchase you get ms. pac man for free.

but who cares about all that? this is the game that has pac man battle royale on it aka the best local multiplayer game of all time.

namco, go ahead and put up a store page for this and dark souls 2 mmmmkay? all will be forgiven.

I have a new most hated enemy in video games. this thing is my nemesis holy fuck

Yeah, nobody expects to get their ass kicked by those things. Worst thing about them was companions were not smart enough to use antivenom on themselves so if they get seriously poisoned you have to dismiss them or they die. Nastiest enemies in the game by a long shot.

Question to you games collectors, has Football Manager 2009 always had 2 games list entries? I seriously don't remember it having 2 but alas it does. (apps 10540 and 10545)

I remember those cazadores. Yeah, fuck them. I lost count how many times I died or ran away like a little school girl. They wreck havoc at low levels, their poison is annoying and fast attacks degrade my armor like nobody's business.

My solution, I toss grenades. A whole bunch of them.

Hmm, but why have region specific subs when there's no "onlyallowrunincountries" flag?

There are two key reasons:

- The presence of the AllowPurchaseFromRestrictedCountries flag prevents purchasing exploits like we saw with South Park
- Region-specific subs allow a publisher to handle censorship matters or supported language peculiarities without resorting to region-specific apps

Yeah. 10545 is a vestigial app with zero configuration info attached to it which is why it only shows up in the All Games tab of someone's profile. It was probably a beta or something.

I see, thank you for your explanation.

Uuh cool!

As a Total newb of Total War, where should I start?
I'm mostly interested in Rome and Shogun, but seeing that Rome is just 2.75€ and Shogun 2 is 11.25€ (and Fall of the Samurai 8.25€), I guess I should go with Rome and see if I like it?

Keep in mind I can't run any of older TW games on win8, and I'm not alone at this.
Rome is an old game, if you want new, you want Rome 2 and I doubt it can be bought for 2.75€. Shogun 2 must have been cheaper at some point as I have it too with fall of samurai and I probably haven't paid 20€ for it (don't really remember, I might be wrong on this one). Rome 2 had all sorts of problems, but it seems they fixed it by now. As for Shogun 2, it is beloved game by many. I still haven't gotten around to playing it for any longer time, ashamed to say. :(
Basically you can start with any game, you choose.
