Posted already? Today's IGS is for Ku: Shroud of the Morrigan, an ARPG-lite which was Greenlit in January.

It's an iOS port: 148 Apps gave it 4/5, PocketGamer thought it was alright but had control issues (6/10).

Looks kind of neat. Ill check it out.

I'd say it's intended as pre-load data is encrypted. For decryption to occur Steam needs to know that you own the game.

you can now update your Ace Combat Assault Horizon Enhanced Edition for PC game to replace the Games for Windows Live functionalities with Steamworks functionalities.
The update is available from today – February 24th and will let you keep both your saves and achievements.

Did you check all pages on your profile?

The profile page is split up after a certain number of bundles, I had to look on the second page of my profile to find the Greenlight 4 bundle.

edit: I'm talking about the Groupees profile, they had the game in the Build a Greenlight Bundle 4.

Every time I see one of these I get excited for a brief, sweet moment thinking that this time it's finally Dark Souls. And then it's not, and I hate this whole process a little more. I got into a fight with a robot toilet in Japan years ago after a night of solid drinking.

I was trying to throw up into it, I must of leaned on some button and it sprayed water in my face. It surprised me so much that I instinctively punched it which caused the seat to fall down and crush my other hand.

I was hoping for better mark downs on Driver SF and CoJ Gunslinger during this sale.

I'd recommend AC2 and brotherhood. ACR is ok and I only just started on AC3 so I can't say anything about it besides the fact that it runs really well on my PC and I enjoy the change in scenery from the ezio games.

Sudeki was one of those games I really wanted to play on the Xbox back in the day, but never had a chance to. Even if it turns out to be godawful, I feel obligated to get it just to satisfy my curiosity after all this time, if that makes sense.

Cool thanks. After doing more research going to hold off. Looks like AC2 got down to this price on Steam several times last year. So no rush to get it now if I am not going to be starting it right away.

I received a PM about this yesterday. Basically, the answer is "no". To prevent people from accidentally purchasing the same game twice, Ubi has Steam ignore the key "DLC" when it runs a cross-check, so the only app that Steam looks for is the game itself; ergo, if you own the standard edition of, say, Brotherhood, you can't buy the DDE and vice-versa.

Funnily enough, though, the above doesn't apply to DDE upgrades: With both AssCreed 2 and Far Cry 3 I bought the DDE but was also able to buy the separate DDE upgrade.

Edit: You can try what this guy supposedly did (buy the DDE as a gift and ask for a refund on the standard edition):

UPDATE: Got a reply, I will get a refund after I buy AC:B Deluxe as a gift stored in my inventory for later use. Done that, so looks like we are on the way. Just wanted to share if anybody ever reads this and got the same situation, contant support with trust, but do it asap.

Third day in a row without any Playfire Rewards updates. Twitter has been silent for equally as long and I can't seem to find anything about them taking a break. Anyone know what's going on?

Hey Last Baron,

It takes us (read: me) a fair amount of time to put together the rewards for the next week and schedule them in the backend. What I tend to do is look through the upcoming releases and deals for the week on the Friday before, and schedule around that. The only issue with that is often there are last minute changes or we don't know the achievements ahead of time - particularly for releases near the end of that seven day period. Now during the beta, I'm happy to put up with that, but going forward we'll be working closer with the publishers to plan ahead of time.

So what happened this week was that there wasn't anything releasing on Saturday or Sunday when I planned it all out, plus we'd had a lot of rewards for Strider, so I left them free. We like daily rewards but we're not committed to it at the moment. I only work Mon-Fri so I tend to put together any rewards for releases that I missed over the weekend when I get in on the Monday. Our office is in UK, but I'm currently in Santa Monica, so put 8 hours on top of that.

Hope that explains it. It's more a BETA thing rather than indicative of what we're going to do in the future. Also doing everything in blog posts clearly isn't ideal, we know

I get this error about 75% of the time when making purchases on Steam, whether its buying a game or adding funds to wallet. It could be that the weekend sales are ending and a lot of people are trying to make purchases right now.

I'm playing Thief 3, and though I love the atmosphere, the game hates me. I can't seem to get in the "exact" right position to knock a guard out, causing him/her to bugger my shit up. Other times, I can literally follow one from behind, and watch as my numerous blackjack hits clip through, with the guard not even noticing. It makes a game where I (as a generally terrible player) have to quick-save after everything, since I can never be sure whether doing A will lead to effect B on a consistent basis. I did play a bit of Thief Gold, but the dated graphics/controls just didn't immerse me.

I'm looking forward to the new Thief. I played most of Hitman Absolution, so I think at worst, I can bear through.
