I think ssb4 will be great. They're taking their time with it and working hard.

Isn't Namco helping them out with this one? Namco does fighting games really well (Tekken, Soul Calibur) so I'm not worried.

Btw, I had no idea people didn't like Brawl lol I love it personally, just like I did Melee.

So I have a latino friend who told me that black people got it good these days and that for the most part, racism is over. I told him I disagree and he said "you think so?" Its amazing how despite everything going on, people thing because we aren't getting hung anymore, racism over.

You guys should already know 12 Years is getting one big award anyway. Hopefully it will be best picture or Chiwetel Ejiofor taking best actor.

I will give Jennifer Lawrence credit for keeping American Hustle from being boring as hell though.

Yes American hustle was a plodding movie I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would... And overly enjoyed wolf of wallstreet was my favorite movie this year.

I won't be mad of Leo gets the Oscar over Chiwetel Ejiofor.

And for the new thread, I vote for any title with "Monicas" in it. Just so we can keep count of how many people come in and ask who Monica is.

Jokes aside, I don't think Lupita's performance in 12 years makes her an obvious choice for the Oscar to the point that it's an egregious example of racism if she loses.

For Ghost Rider, the best books I read were by Jason Aaron. He understood this was a goofy concept of a man on a fire with a skeleton for a head riding a flaming motorcycle powered by VENGEANCE, so he made it like Preacher directed by Michael Bay and embraced its 70s stunt car/horror movie roots. Haunted 16-wheelers, zombie highwaymen, a demonic race against the world, kung-fu fighting nuns, the works. Give the first trade a try and see how it fancies you.

Daredevil has several great runs, but I gonna go ahead and recommend the current run by Mark Waid and a variety of fantastic artists. Its been one of the best superhero books on the stands for the past 3 years. Really fun stuff.

It depends who wins in her place. If Jennifer Lawrence wins, then that's 100% Grade A horse shit. Not only because she's undeserving of the award, but due to the fact that she won Best Actress last year. I don't agree with the way the Academy Awards work at times, but they typically don't give out awards in consecutive years - even when the actor/actress is completely deserving. That's not the case here, and for her to win back-to-back awards suggests that A) Her performance was out of this world and B) There was no worthwhile competition. I think neither is true. Her role was over-the-top, overly hysterical and generally overacted in the worst way possible. I typically value more nuanced, subtle performances, because I consider it to be the more difficult feat to pull off.

It comes on Fox Saturday nights but you could probably find it online somewhere.

she was born in Mexico but her family is Kenyan and they merely lived there for a few years.

The first 3 pages would be nothing but "Am I the only one that" threads on both sides if that every happened

Honestly I don't think the threat of a ban deters people that much from saying things. Even if there was a no consequences day I still think most people wouldn't act much differently(outside of deliberate trolling) out of fear of the "social consequences" of saying certain things.(other members thinking less of them after the fact)
