Maybe certain Assist Trophies/Pokémon are too much for the 3DS to handle while keeping that 60fps? Things like Lati@s or Kat & Ana might create too many effects on screen or take to many resources, especially during battles with more characters.

I've quoted you about this before, but I've still yet to figure out how (if that leak is true) Greninja, Shulk, Palutena, Mega Man, Little Mac, Chrom as newcomers makes a horrible roster. Those are all fantastic additions, and I enjoy the other newcomers as well, even if I'm not super stoked for them. There's yet to be a "bad" newcomer unveiled/rumored.

Not to mention the supposed leaker never claimed there weren't any more newcomers. If we're going to treat his word as gospel, we need to realize that he's had two separate "character dumps." Who knows if there are more.

I don't really see what's wrong with this roster. Please enlighten me.

The sal leak characters are all great (well maybe aside from Mii and Pac Man, but Sakurai will find a way to make them shine), plus we're definitely getting Ridley and probably at least Mewtwo as well.
