Thanks for the heads up. I'll probably just hang on to my Amazon pre-order. Better to wait a couple days extra for them to ship than to end up playing the extra $25 or so.

I did, just barely in time. The sale ended at 10 am (ET), unfortunately. I think the coding of the page was messed up at first, which had disabled the button. I actually edited the code manually to get it to work, but I think they fixed it on their end at around 9:55.
I also traded my copy of TLOU for a Kirby Triple Deluxe pre-order this morning, the EB employees were shocked at how good the promo was. :lol

Best Buy had a 15% off on all preorders deal and yeah it's done. Started on the 17th at 5 PM PST, ended today like 7 AM PST? Somewhere around there.
70 dollar games after the deal went to 66 after taxes. That's the same amount I paid when buying 60 dollar games before the price bump >_>

Bestbuy had a sale through Good Friday where preorders where 15% off. Unfortunately, you're right, it ended 10 AM today.
Oh man, I preordered a bunch too and would have preordered Tomodachi Life had I been up earlier. I figured you can always cancel last minutes anyway/return if you really didn't want it.... (or if better deals come out on E3 week) ...

They put tLoU up again for preorder for the last few hours of the deal, managed to get one!
It was out of stock most of the time which is stupid since it's not a limited print item or anything!
I saw that. $10 is better then 15% for Kirby and Mario golf. I'll be ready.
That's a better deal for Vita and 3ds games than the %15 off. I'll probably cancel my BB pre-orders for those when this comes up. Also gives me a chance to pre-order some Wii U games, since the discount wasn't available for them at BB when I checked..

They'd be like $2-$3 and I've seen many sets by Alliance Atlantis and other DVDs for that price at Dollarama so it's very possible one store in the city, or country, carries it.

That's interesting. I remember Shout Factory was unable to get the rights to sell their Beast Wars box set in Canada because Alliance Atlantis owned the Canadian rights, so everyone in Canada just imported the Shout Factory version.
I've never seen one of those before, but I'll keep my eyes open next time I'm in the dollar store. I'm assuming you want one?

So badly. Beast Wars is timeless to me. I wanted to get the DVD for a long time, I HAD an opportunity in Montreal when CMR near Place Vertu actually had the Shout Factory box set, of course I didn't know about the issues and thought it was available everywhere. It was also $70 IIRC.

I'd heard in an interview with someone from Mainframe that ReBoot's old project files were lost, so a South Park-style upres was impossible. Wonder if Beast Wars fared any better.

To the dude who pre-ordered Hakuoki on PS3 - you should do it on FS as well, unless you preordered the Limited Edition.

It's the same as the 15% offer that BB did a couple of days ago. It works out better if you are pre-ordering 3ds/Vita games if you do it through FS.
It's $0.50 more expensive than 15% off of a $70 game.
