"Blink and you'll miss it"

Well at least they know how to set expectations. I imagine it will all fit in one gif.

im guessing a play on words meaning " this shit is so good if you blink you will miss something "

Or there could be some sort of secret in the video that you could miss if you do not pay attention the whole time. Something like that.

Or it could just be a really short video. Seeing as it's a 'sneak-peak'.

Regardless this is a welcome treat. The Order is one of my most anticipated games.

That is interesting, and of course does tie in with the Weeping Angels from Dr Who. Are they ingrained enough into popular culture and myth to warrant a place alongside werewolves or vampires though? I DO think they are a very good contender to eventually do that but is it perhaps a little too soon?

What if the trailer ends with the sound of the Tardis!? That would be something else. LOL

yea that was alright, i am not a big fan of qte's though

Neither am I but they're done well in Naughty Dog games, and RAD do admire ND a lot.

Branching QTEs is also one way of giving replay value to the game. Fights with enemies don't have to be the same in each playthrough.

yea they were well done in the Uncharted games, especially Uncharted 3 :)

I am REALLY looking forward to this game, one of the main reasons why I bought a PS4 so early The Order 1886 and Infamous SS (which I loved a lot!)

So whats so good about this game? Havent been keeping up with it.

Only seen the teaser last year

The developers seem massively passionate about it, nice art and technical direction and it's a PS4 exclusive. People want to see more from the gameplay though because what we saw earlier this year wasn't inspiring at all. Even though it was only 3 minutes.

Well Shinobi knew that info was coming next week, and he was correct, just date was different, that's more than any of us knew.

Exactly. Shinobi has never claimed (to the best of my knowledge) to be an insider. It's people
who give titles like 'insider' to anyone who may have contacts within the game industry. There's a big difference between this and actually working within an industry. A big enough difference to make you wrong about things some of the time.

I hope they show some of the crazily advanced physics they were mentioning.

That and I want them to show some more interesting environments from the game like seen in their concept art.

The gameplay footage bits we've seen doesn't give me the gothic vibe yet.

Clearly this means they have some huge announcements for E3, right guys?? CLEARLY.

Or they're previewing it to remind us of the game, and will follow up with a press release saying to look forward to it in early 2015. Thereby getting the bad news out of the way so they don't need to talk about it at E3

You guys missed the joke :(

I love it, as someone who browses ALL the E3 threads, these comments made me chuckle, and I definitely get the joke!

I was about to say something similar. "Sony is going to have so many E3 announcements they have to show The Order now, and get it out of the way!"

Or "This video will say The Order is delayed till 2015, so Sony doesn't have to reveal it at E3 and have all the news sites reporting on the delay instead of all the awesome E3 games they revealed/previewed."

Yes... I'm following over 300 devs, too.
Man, I'm an super "insider" too :)

Keep going, you're almost there. As thirsty as these websites are to post news, you're going to tell me everyone was keeping silent about this? Hell it would've at least been on DualShockers, lol. Being off by a week when no one else was saying "anything" means you've got second-hand information...which I'm pretty sure people would admit anyway.

I'm so hyped.

One of my most anticipated games. Loved RAD, love what they're attempting and I LOVEDDDDDDDD what they showed. I like TPS and don't mind QTE especially if it doesn't seem like its the major focus of the game.

Man...my pants are TIGHT.

I need it to be 4PM EST right now.

The gameplay they revealed in February looked good, but I think people expected more from what we saw in the debut trailer (cool ass weapons, supernatural enemies, open-environment)

Yeah, they showed too little, and action piece of it had generic gameplay [although fuckawesome beautiful].

This seems like the worst possible time for a reveal of anything positive. Its late on a Friday (East Coast) which pushes it out of a reasonable time for most of the world and for the US its late on the Friday before a holiday weekend which means many people won't be focused on it.

Feels like a perfect time to push out some bad news that can get glossed over during the weekend, no?

Maybe in 1980, but it's 2014 and the internet and social media exist.

Yes, but there is a lot less action on weekends. Especially holiday weekends in the US. If you had to choose a time to release something and you wanted the longest amount of time for a reaction you do it on a Tuesday. Monday is usually too busy for people and Tuesday gives you the rest of the week to feed off of it.

Friday is the best time to bury something without forcing your employees to try and do stuff over the weekend.
