Oh hells yes. Goat Simulator already paid for itself the last go around, this should be awesome.
I am pretty tempted by them too, but I am hoping to hold out for one with G-Sync or FreeSync. Either one since I am pretty much 100% Nvidia now.
I agree with this "unpopular" opinion.
This is my exact thought as well. They don't care about selling PC games nearly as much as they care about keeping the mindshare of gamers who represent sort of the bleeding edge in tech for PC. If even a quarter of PC gamers started switching to Linux, think of the downstream implications even beyond gaming. I would be a lot more comfortable setting my wife or mother or mother-in-law up with a Linux laptop if that was what I was running on my desktop (maybe in time). They are already losing casuals to iOS/Android and losing their core tech enthusiast market would be deadly.

CDPR actually does have a team that works on the games publishers handball over, but Stallion's right in that community-created patches will be used where possible.

Oh yeah, absolutely. But much like anything that has a niche fan base, it polarizes opinions to the point of fanaticism.
Thankfully Steam has finally become mainstream enough that it can withstand criticism, so the messiah complex, while strong, is weaker than it was.

My assumption is that as he's such a massive Xbox fanboy, he preferred GFWL on PC to Steam as the achievements you earned on that added to you overall Xbox Live gamerscore.

I have a question that I wasn't sure where to ask, and this place seemed most fitting, so here goes.
My two brothers and I used to play Age of Empires II (+Conqueror's) all the time over our LAN. We want to play the HD version, but no idea as to how to go about it in the best way. While I technically have a Steam Account, that's really only from playing Portal 2 on PS3, so I don't have the faintest idea how things work.
I've heard that the game doesn't support LAN so we'd have to play online? Would we have to buy 3 seperate copies, or could we do so via one account since we'd all be on the same IP? Can two even be logged into the same Steam account concurrently? How powerful would the PC's/Laptop's need to be?

Yeah there are a lot of characters who make more sense if you played 1/2.
Even just one of the many games 1C or KISS has released on Steam over the past month or so will suffice.
I didn't, but I live in the old godforsaken continent so I'll suck it and keep my Sixaxis plugged to the PC until the next Bluray watching or something.

I tried to play one. Or at least the demo? It has been a long while. It was fun for a bit, but ultimately I didn't like it enough to see it all the way through.
Also played the vita version. Fared a bit better, but gave up before finishing as well.

Yeah, the game has separate cutscene files for 2D and 3D, which drastically increases the file size. When the game leaked on to the 'net there was a separate "2D only" release that was significantly smaller -- Sony should offer the same, really.

I totally loved Unch 1 and Unch 2, with a slight preference towards the second, which I consider to be one of the GOTG, along IDK Red Dead Redemption or something.
They're basically a TR2013 done WAY better, with the same idiotic twists near the end but at least there are lots of jokes and funny stuff going on, so at least it doesn't take itself too serious and so I found it overall more enjoyable.
Maybe, too many gunfights and too few platforming sections, but I guess it could just be my subjective opinion?
Among Thieves plays better than Drake's Fortune but I've always preferred the latter to the former due to its locations, which better serve the "ancient and probably cursed treasure" MacGuffin.

U3 is a bloated mess with worse controls and all the stuff that was deemed too bad to be included in 2. So if you didn't get through any of the other Uncharteds I'd be extremely surprised if you'd get a lot of enjoyment out of that one. But to be fair there are some weird dudes even in the Steam thread who think 3 is the best. I say don't listen to those weird dudes but who knows, you may be one of them without knowing it.

Yeah, I've been wanting to try Unch2 for a long time because I was told it fixed the issues I had with Unch1 (repetition mostly). Maybe they'll make a remastered collection for PS4. heh.

Speaking of 3, the aiming issue was completely bizarre. Truth be told I didn't actually notice anything was off, but the fact that ND didn't, either, is just odd considering how quickly seasoned players picked up on it.

Somehow my all 24 hour raffles that were bigger got messed, 12 hour ones too, and even 3 hour last one did that and I always post a link to original raffle, never reposted them really. It might be my luck, or modbot really hates bigger raffles.
Then again, it seems nice to give more people chance at a game they want, but probably I should just forget about raffles.
