Well there was that whole Origin India "error" that went on as well
Seeing as no matter where you bought the game it has Uplay integration it would be nice to see the split on how each platform performed. I know a few people who don't want client inception with multiple layers and would be the type to plump for the Uplay version. Plus all other etailers and retail copies were Uplay redeemable so there's that to account for. Origin had that pricing fiasco which probably accounted for more than expected copies there. And some folks (like myself) prefer to have content delivery and patching done by Steam. That's not accounting for collectors or people who like their libraries consistent or only on one platform.
Still I don't think there's any worry about Uplay being an exclusive platform for Ubi titles just yet unlike EA and Origin.
They just don't seem to care about that really. If they did they wouldn't bother with the simul-releases. I think they're happy with Uplay integration at this point, though they should definitely move to the in-game model used by Rocksmith 2014.

Not sure if they work, but somehow I had those two in the IR Debut Bundle and it seems the keys I got from Desura were different.

I don't like to claim games I wouldn't actually play (or in the case of Barbie, wouldn't use for a milestone)... which is why I've yet to even enter a single giveaway.

The problem is, there's no trace of the purchase if I look at Account details and License & Subscriptions. The money has been drawn though.

Once I had to wait several hours before receiving the "Thank you for your purchase" confirmation email from Steam - I gather it took some time to check the transaction - and then the game was added to my library.
Have you received your confirmation email yet?
Are you sure your card was actually charged? If the payment is just pending then it'll drop off after a few days.

If you have paid with your Steam wallet, that is strange indeed; something like this happened when I bought a game using Skrill, and maybe they wanted to check my account was legitimate.
On the bright side, since you have received your email confirmation with your payment info, that should be a proof enough of your purchase so you should be safe.
Ah, I thought you were referring to your bank account with "drawn". The sale ends in 28 hours and if the sale is over by the time you get a response I'm not sure if you'll get the game or just have to accept a refund. Since the issue was at Steam's end I'd like to assume the former.

That luigi one is amazing.
This is probably the one reason I want a Wii U at the moment (since Betrayonetta 2 hasn't released yet).
I remember only being able to get silver and then I looked around for some strategies and the one that I posted was what did it for me... if you get to the center and wreak havoc before they can spawn and get away, it makes it so you only have to deal with the stationary targets (and whatever they spawn). You should only have to throw the machette < 5 times or so... depending on how strong your regular slashes are from upgrades vs how much damage your throws do.
And yeah, those challenge achievements with the totems were a beast. It took me multiple tries and multiple strategies that I wouldn't normally use before I found things that worked for me. I still have one of them featured on my showcase on my profile page.

Speaking of -- I wish you could repeat showcases but the webpage/widget would be smart enough to not repeat other data that you don't want.
Like if I put a 2nd achievement showcase up and pick 5 more I want to be put up, I don't want/need it to put up my collection stats again. :\
